Impression Obsession Color Challenge

Hey everyone!!!

i'm back for a bit!!!!

I took the summer off from IO Stamps as it's such a busy time for me with all the activities I enjoy doing, plus with working at the Flower Shop three days a week, it's been a little much!!

During this time, Mitra has decided to close Impression Obsession and is clearing out with many sets and dies at deep discounts.

It makes me sad to see IO Stamps Closing, but I'm really excited for Mitra, as she embarks on the next chapter in her life.

I wanted to participate in some of the challenges until we close and to highlight some of my favourite things, that are still available on the website.

I absolutely LOVE this beautiful wreath die

It's one of the earlier dies released, but one I won't be parting with as I love the birds. which have their own seperate dies so you can do different things with them before adding them to your wreath!

I simply sponged in two different colours to get the effect I wanted.

The patterned paper was perfect for this challenge, pulling in the colours I needed to showcase. It's called wood textures. I'll be using this card for a class Christmas Card this season, as I think it turned out lovely and the colour combo is very interesting.

For the sentiment, I simply cut a 1/2" strip and trimmed in the ends. The sentiments and interior of the card are decorated with the stamps in the Christmas Jar set.

Looks like there are only a few of these sets left, so if you love it, I'd get it sooner than later!!!

Impression Obsession June Release-Day 2

June 1st & 2nd the Impression Obsession Team will be sharing projects with NEW June Release products! You can find a list of participants on the Impression Obsession Blog each day through the event.

I have always enjoyed looking at people's Bullet Journals and decided I would give it a try myself this year. I used a combination of Stamps, Die Cuts and Stencils to create my pet themed June Calendar.

For this project I used CL1299 Talk to the Paw, CL1293 It's a Pirate's Life, Die 1301 Paw Heart and Stencil 45 A-1 Paw Love

I used the Stencil and It's a Pirate's Life to make this fun card!!

How cute is this tote's adorable Paw..... I just <3 it!!!!

I paired die 1301 Paw Heart with die 1298 Large Paw. I created the fun background with Stencil 42-A3 Layered Paws. The sentiment if from the CL1299 Talk to the Paw.

Happy Graduation

Hello!!

It's that time of year again, when we celebrate our Graduates!!!

If you are a member of our Impression Obsession Fans Group you may have watched me create this card. If not and you're interested in making something like this, head over to the group and watch the Vid!!!

This card has a gift card holder, which is great to gift your most recent graduate. You can also add a photo mat to this section and include a photo, which would be great if you're creating mom and dad's day cards or birth announcements etc.

Celebrate with Stencils

Today we're focusing on Stencils! I know i've peeked these cards on the FB page, but I wanted to have them on the blog as well and so this is the perfect occasion!

I used the sweet stencil from the Birthday Hugs Stencils. Its a super cute set of mini stencils on a ring!

So Sweet!

For both cards, I used the Celebrate Die, along with the Graduation Caps

On the lower card, I also added the year using the numbers dies

I made some encouraging lunch box notes using the More Sweet Citrus set, along with the Primitive Stars die and the paper from the BZZZZ Paper Pack

I love this super sweet Bear Die and Shelf Die and I paired it with the Jam and Honey (I really wanted to say HUNNI!) from the Sweet as Honey Set

I also used paper from the Blue Paper Pack, the Red Paper Pack

and the Yellow Paper Pack

Impression Obsession New Release Hop-Day Two

For my first card, I used the Happy Bee Day set along with the Honey Comb Stencil , the Hex Clusters Stencil and on the inside of the card, The Honey Comb Stencil combined with the A4 Circles Stencils

IO Stamps April Release Hop- Celebrate

Good Morning!!

April 15th - 17th The Impression Obsession Team will be sharing projects with NEW April Release products! You can find a list of participants on the Impression Obsession Blog each day through the event.

Today I'm featuring the Everything Roses Stamp set. For this card, I coloued the rose with Copic Marker. I then used the foliate from the Layered Posy Die set I just trimmed off the small circles that are in place to mount the posies in that set. I cut a sentiment banner from the Jumbo Pinked Sentiment Banners Die Set and used the sentiments from the Alphabet Sayings MOM set and the Mother's Day Garden Set

I masked the Roses while stamping a flowery border, coloured with SU Blends and Copic Markers and cut the image out to mount upon an embossed back ground. What about this lovely HUGE Celebrate Die!!!! I am in Die Heaven here!!!! It can be found in the NEW PRODUCTS tab, along with the stamp set

Lastly, I wanted to design a very simple card. I stamps the background with the sweet little squarish stamp in the set and just over stamped the back ground with the roses and foliage. Simple, yet pretty I think!!!

Spring Blooms

There is nothing more beautiful to me than Spring Flowers. I'm not sure if it's because they signify new life, bring a little brightness after a dull winter, or if they're just my fave in general. I love Purple, so Hydrangeas and Hyacinths, Iris and Lilacs just make me smile!!! I have a couple of spring projects to share with you below!

I try to live life in full Bloom. After recently retiring from an intense 32 year career in the field of Forensic Treatment, I was able to manifest a part time job in a Flower Shop. Funny, but it's called in Bloom . Working with Flowers brings me Joy!

For this card, I combined our pretty Layered Posie Die set with

the sweet little chickie from the Chicken In set

I created the oval with the Oval of Circles die. The sentiment is from the Alphabet Sayings -Spring Set

This sweet little tag was made using images from the Alphabet Sayings Spring Set, the Sentiment is from the Chicken in Set. I can see myself creating many more Shaker Tag! This DIE makes it super easy!
