I also Love this Cappella Designer Paper from Basic Grey! It's very neutral, which allows you to really place emphasis on your main image.

I coloured Alice with Copic Marker . The stamp on the Kraft Heart as well as the mini tag is from Stampin' Up!.

Stampotique Designers Challenge #27-Tryptich Card

Today I,m the host and I'm challenging you to make a triptych card. Wait until you see what the team has for you, they got super creative with this challenge and we can't wait to see what you create. There are a few different types of triptych cards and we just linked you up to some samples to use. This week is a STAMPOTIQUE only challenge.

For my card, I started with some Delicious Designer Paper from Stampin' Up! The Pretty Pattern allowed me to not only leave the front of my card undecorated, with the exception of the Antique Brads and also stamp my images directly on the inside of the card and colour over using my Copic Markers. I did sponge some Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Ink to all edges of the card to age the paper a little more.

For Stamps, I used Flower Pot Girl and Wish. I added flowers by CTMH to match the posies I coloured on the main images...........these cards are fun to make and not nearly as complicated as one would think. Why don't you play along with your Stampotique Stamps. One lucky player will win a $30.00 Gift Certificate to the Stampotique Originals online store. Make sure you link up your projects HERE

Happy Stamping!

Flower Soft Toppers-Country Village

Another Quick and Easy Card for you today. I just love the Flowersoft Card Toppers. You can create fun cards so quickly with these fun toppers.

For this card, I used the Flowersoft-Country-Village Cottage Toppers. I did cut it down a bit to match the sketch I used for the card and I inked the edges with some caramel ink to soften them down a bit. DP is from Basic Grey and For the Flowersoft accent, I used Marigold and Spring Mix.

See you next week with more Flowersoft creations!

Outlines Monday-It's coming up Spring!

Spring is Springing up all over!!!! Yesterday I noticed that the Pussy Willow Tree is starting to bud! YAY!!!! It was actually 48 degrees here as well, which is unusually warm for March.

Our challenge today was to create a spring themed card. We actually made this card as part of a techniques class that I taught last week-Dazzling Diamond Technique. After colouring your image, you then pat over the whole image with versamark ink and then emboss with irridescent embossing powder. Fun! The main image that I used is called Easter Egg Tree and is available HERE at Outlines. I didn't have an Outlines Sentiment to match, but if you visit the online store, they have a lot of awesome sentiments to choose from.

Be sure to visit the rest of the DT blogs to see what they've come up with for you~!

Hugs,

Stretching My Style

I'm not much of a Techniquey Stamper, I'm really quite simple in my style I think. I love to colour and add layers, but I get totally inspired by some of the eclectic style of the Stampotique Design Team. I appreciate the altered art and collage creations and wanted to stretch myself a bit with this piece.

The creation of this card started with making the tag. I embossed Timeless with Copper Embossing Powder on a Shipping Tag. I then took several colours of Tim Holtz Distress ink and sponged over the tag. Then I used some Tim Holtz Ideology Designer Paper as a background, sponging the edges with some Creamy Caramel Ink. The card look pretty bare, so I decided to stamp 3 Girls. All stamps are from Stampotique Originals

Embellishments include Lace (which I distressed a bit with the Caramel Ink) Antique Brads and Skeleton Leaves from SU

I like the way it turned out..............hope you enjoy it as well
