Crazy 4 Challenges 109-Heat it up!

Before we get into today's challenge, as this week is a sponsored challenge, we need to introduce this month's sponsor which is Outlines Rubber Stamps. They have lots of fun stamps on there site, so if you haven’t visited them before you might want to head on over there to see their range. Outlines has generously offered a $25 gift certificate for one lucky person who plays this week's challenge. I was very lucky to be on their Design Team and I have to tell you, the stamps are VERY DEEPLY ETCHED and the Rubber, Buttery Soft!

Now it is time for our challenge, Tammy is back to challenge us all this week. The holiday season is heating up! So our challenge today is to create something for an upcoming holiday and to incorporate heat embossing in your creation!

For my card, I used this awesome Winter Owl  I stamped the owl onto White Cardstock with Memento Black Ink. I coloured my image with my Touch Twin Markers  ( you can see the colour map below, if you'd like to use a similar colour combination~

I then sponged the whole background with Not Quite Navy ink and embossed the tiny snowflake (Joy2Christmas-The {Stamps} of Life) with Silver Embossing Powder. See the Soft Fluffy Flower Soft on the Owls hat? This is the BRAND NEW ULTRAFINE WHITE. It just arrived in my mailbox yesterday. I can't believe how unbelievably soft and fluffy it is!

If you decide to play along with us, all you have to do is create a card/project and upload it to your blog and/or to your SCS Gallery using the keyword C4C109. Don't forget to go  back here and link it on Mr Linky so that everyone else can see it too.

Follow the links on my sidebar to see what my favourite "crazies" have been up to all week and to see some more fun images from Outlines!

And Lastly, Here's my colour map!

Crazy4Challenges #33 It's a sketch!

This week, our challenge is sponsored by Amy's Paper Romance! I'm excited 'cause I'm very proud to be a part of her Design Team! Amy carries a large selection of High Hopes Stamps as well as Popcorn Bear, Your Next Stamp and Crafter's Companion in addition to many fun accessories!

This little fella, Raindrops Ribbit is a High Hopes image!!! Oh my gosh, I {heart} this sweet little guy! I coloured him in copics. As you can see, I like to leave a little white space around the edges of the petals for some contrast. I used a little stickles on the raindrops for a shiny dewy look! I cuttlebugged the olive section with a Paisley embossing folder. Sentiment is also from High Hopes! DP is Jillibean dbl sided! I like the mix of the two patterns!

Here's a picture of the sketch that you can follow to play along!

If you would like to play along with us, all you have to do is create a card/project and upload it to your blog and/or to your SCS Gallery using the keyword C4C33. Don't forget to go back to the C4C site and link it on Mr Linky so that everyone else can see it too and of course to see what my sweet Crazies have been up to in their stamping palaces.

This is my second post for today, so pls check out my Krafty Girls challenge below

Crazy4Challenges Week 16 -- Treat Package

During the holiday season we often need some little treats for the little ones who visit, or for friends who drop in unexpectedly, or to add to another gift. Some may also be ornaments that hold treats for Christmas Day. For this week's challenge, make a treat package in any design. If chocolate is involved, you'll get bonus points (but only if you share) .....lol!!!

Can't wait to see your deeeeeelish creations!!!

Our sponsor the month of December continues to be....

Now remember, when you play along with us you will want to come back to the blog post on Crazy4Challenges and sign in with Mr. Linky so others will be able to find your creation to gaze upon.

I got my inspiration......well actually totally Cased my idea from the awesome Gift Packaging that I saw on Joycelyn's Blog a couple of weeks ago. They are Treat Pull Bags and a gift card holder. Presents for the Teens in our family........ I totally took Joycelyn's advice, bought some Theatre Gift Cards and packed the gifties with Popcorn and a HUGE chocolate bar~~ Thanks J! I can check one more things my list!

I am lovin' this Imaginisce Christmas Paper! The Little Reindeer are Stinkin' Cute. The Green dotted Paper is from last years Peppermint Sticks October Afternoon. Q.T. Hootie is from Pink Cat Studio and coloured with Copics.

This Girly pack uses Paper from Bo Bunny a Gift of Love collection. The Snowflake is from the Dollar Store and the Star Brad from Creative Imaginations.

How about this Scenic Route Combination? This is last years Christmas Line. I got a great deal in the Spring on a combination kit of Paper, Chipboard and Stickers! I like the bright and whimsical look of this paper!

I have to tell you, that this was such a quick and easy project! I completed all four packages in just over an hour!

You may not see to much of me over the next week or so........still have a little xmas gift making, cleaning, cleaning and designing for all the new releases coming up in January......I'll be back on Monday with the Pink Elephant Challenge

If you have time to...........Stamp Happily!

Two, Two, Two Challenges in one- Kraftin' Kimmie and Crazy4Challenges

What fun! Two, Two, Two Challenges in one!!! Kraftin' Kimmie is our sponsor over at Crazy4Challenges for the month of December. Our Superdeduper Hostess Frances, came up with a very fun easel card challenge for us this week and Kimmie is giving away three Kimmie Stamps to one of our random players!!! What more could you ask for?

One more tidbit of EXCITING EXCITING news!!!! Michelle Boyer is now officially a Krafty Girl......was there any doubt about it EVER?? Well now she's a Craftin' Kimmie Girl! I was SO hoping that she would join us full time on the Design Team as I LOVE LOVE LOVE her Schtuff!

The second Challenge, the weekly Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge is hosted by the oh so talented Niki Estes, who challenged us to use stitching on our cards this week. My sewing machine has been about as ornery as a bear with a sore paw lately, thus faux stitching for me this week!

Make sure you visit Niki's blog, because the image that she uses for her project could be yours (well, Kimmie will send you a new one of course!) just for playing along!

Now, about my card! I used Prismacolor pencils to colour sweet Antoinette and Sprinkled some sugary glitter onto the white areas to give her a little pizzaz!!! Paper is from FIGGY Pudding Basic Grey. See the Faux Stitching? Did that with white gel pen.

To get the directions for the easel card, please head on over to the C4C Blog where Frances has kindly posted the links to the directions!

Don't forget to check out the C4C girls cards this week, they're truly scrumptious.......also take a peek at the Krafty Girls Sites, you may find some more cool easel cards!

To get the down and dirty for either challenge, head over to the Kraftin' Kimmie and C4C blogs!

Happy Stamping!

Crazy 4 Challenges Week 7-It's a Sketch

Although I am October Hostess for our fabby Challenge Group, I was kindly rescued by Cindy Haffner, who designed this awesome sketch for me! Thanks a bunch Cindy!

If you would like to play, we would love to see you share your creation here. Please upload your creation to your blog/gallery using the keyword C4C7 and go to the Crazy4 Challenges Blog to add it to Mr. Linky so we can all access it.

This image was just released yesterday at Pink Cat Studio Digi Stamps .
Hootie and Squirt are happy on their Stump Perch! I coloured this image with Copics and cute three layers of images to add a lot of dimension to this card. White Gel Pen adds some accents and Diamond Glaze gives the owlie's glassy eyes!

The Dotted DP is from Graphic 45 (yep, I'm sure today!) , the lighter blue paper from Imaginisce and sponged on the edges with Dark Teal Pigment ink. Buttons are from Micheals. I threaded a thin strip of coordination cardstock through the buttons for a different look!

Here is a copy of the Sketch if you'd like to play along!

Having a fabulous weekend with my Girlfriends at Jactopia!!! I hope that I'll be really creative and have lots to show you next week!

Happy Stamping!
