Crazy 4 Challenges 109-Heat it up!

Before we get into today's challenge, as this week is a sponsored challenge, we need to introduce this month's sponsor which is Outlines Rubber Stamps. Now it is time for our challenge, Tammy is back to challenge us all this week. The holiday season is heating up! So our challenge today is to create something for an upcoming holiday and to incorporate heat embossing in your creation!

For my card, I used this awesome Winter Owl  I stamped the owl onto White Cardstock with Memento Black Ink. I coloured my image with my Touch Twin Markers  ( you can see the colour map below, if you'd like to use a similar colour combination~

I then sponged the whole background with Not Quite Navy ink and embossed the tiny snowflake (Joy2Christmas-The {Stamps} of Life) with Silver Embossing Powder. See the Soft Fluffy Flower Soft on the Owls hat? This is the BRAND NEW ULTRAFINE WHITE. It just arrived in my mailbox yesterday. I can't believe how unbelievably soft and fluffy it is!

Cars2drive-New Release from the {Stamps} of Life

I'm REALLY excited to share the latest release from the {Stamps} of Life-Cars2drive. I picked up this inexpensive white board at the Dollar Store and thought that with the addition of the stamps and embellishments, it would make a sweet whiteboard for my little Cousin Bryson's room.


This set is chocked full of trucks, cars and fun sentiments. Road Trip embellishment is from Karen Foster. To make the glossy initial, I inked the Chipboard letter with Bright Blue Pigment ink and then embossed with UTEE. DP is from Basic Grey and Metal Embellisments, well they're from somewhere deep down in a craft drawer.......had to dust the cobwebs off of these! lol



I used an emboss resist technique to create the Red Shipping Tag on this card. I inked up the stamps with Versamark and embossed with White Embossing Powder. I then took a red ink pad and went direct to paper, until the Shiping Tag was saturated with ink. I stamps the truck, coloured, cut it out and mounted it onto the black strip, which represents a road.




This little car set is not just for Boys. I combined the set with the present and sentiment from the Birthday4cookie set I added some Peony Flowersoft to the prezzie bow and some great P.K. Glitz Glitter to the window. Rhinestone Brads make for some pretty fun rims~! Be sure to head on over to the {Stamps} of life and check this set out!

All of my projects are made with the Wine Buffs-Paper Craft Kit. Let me tell you, there is a lot of fun stuff in this kit and so many possibilities for paper crafting ideas. I whipped this project up in a jiffy, using a plain kraft gift bag and some Raffia!



Look at this wine bottle? It almost looks realistic................and the cartoon images are just adorable!

For my card, I've used the Flower Soft Easter Fun Toppers. This little chickie is just the sweetest!!!!!




I love the layered look that I achieve by simply cutting out the pre printed elements and layering them with dimensional dots. In order to add a wee bit of zip, I added a touch of Lemon Flowersoft on the little wings. The pretty little floral border comes from the Flowersoft Doe Cut Dimensions, Wildflowers.
