Today I'm wishing lots of luck and love with this fun St. Patty's Day card!!!
This was just a matter of cutting a bunch of shamrocks, inking them up a bit to add dimension to the die cuts and assembling them around the sentiment! I added a wee gold clover just for good measure

79 years ago, one of the most special ladies arrived in the world. A beautiful baby, destined to become a beautiful woman, inside and out!!!!
I always love to create a special card for Mom, because like her Mother, she appreciates the cards so much!
Here she is with her Aunt and Uncle, who will be celebrating 71 years of marriage this month!!!!
She is loving and caring with family~
Mom is a loyal friend who would do anything for those she cares about. She can be a little hard headed and isn't afraid to let her opinion be known, although it can be harsh; most that know her, realize her heart is in the right place and just like we all have some flaws, so does she. Beauty without some degree of imperfection seems synthetic. Mom is real in all that she is and all that she does!
Whether we're just having a little roadtrip, or exploring the world together, we are making memories that won't be forgotten. Even though we might spat a little or scare the crap out of each other in the middle of the night (Remember Grenada? lol) I fondly cherish each place we have explored together.
Even in the rainy moments......
You are my sunshine!!!
You are my Joy
My best friend
I am proud to have an incredible relationship with you
Good Morning!!!! I've created today's card with a clear set and a cover a card stamp I haven't used in awhile.
I don't really care to make sympathy cards, but if we are to offer condolences, I like to make a hand made card. This one is for a family friend who has lost his Father. It is always sad to lose a loved one, but Mr. Slack was blessed to live 102 years. 102 years and one day to be exact. I would say he certainly has earned his wings. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his Son Doug.

To make this card I cut the conversation hearts out in two colours: Red an Pink
I cut a negative heart space in the centre of the white cardstock
I mounted the white cardstock to a pink background with foam tape to give it dimension.
I stamped the sentiments onto the cardstock before cutting it out.
I selected the bunch of hearts I wanted to use on the card and glued them into the heart cavities I created in the white cardstock.....hmmmm that just makes me sound like a paper surgeon doesn't it? hehe!!!!
Lastly, I added a pink frame around the heart dies: I did that by cutting out the leftover space where I cut the pink hearts originally. There is a nice border on the stamp that allows you to line up the die accurately and cut a frame!!!
Lastly, I cut the love arrow die from some adhesive backed shimmery paper I found at the dollar store the other day?
Does anyone else go into the dollar store and come out many dollars poorer?
The card was easy peasy and cute I think!!!!!

Videos seem to be all the rage today. With the exception of a couple of facebook live and quick videos on phone apps, I been a little nervous to do videos.
So, I took the plunge yesterday and made my first video.
Recording the process was the easy part. I had to clean off my space, but once that was done, I organized myself to have everything available to me.
I was sure that was going to be the most complicated thing, but NOPE...!!
Just a tip for you. If you plan to make a video for the first time, it's probably a good idea to make it with a project that you want to post well in advance of having to post it.
Do you think I could figure out how to edit the 25 minute video down to a reasonable chunk of time?
I spend quite a bit of time watching videos to see how to edit videos.
But even before THAT, I made a little boo on the card when I decided to go in and add a little more blue to the background. Rather than pause the video, I shut it off. Did I mention that I thought it would be a good idea to use my old iphone to make the video?
Not so much, it didn't have enough memory and only captured the first five minutes. Anyway I"m jumping all over the place here. So I made a boo boo with this card and so I'll have to tell you how I fixed it later in the post!!!
So here goes!
I will say it really is quite a process and I think it's really not all that difficult; however give yourself some time to figure it all out!!!!
This video is FAR from perfect, but so am I.
I'm posting it not because it's wonderful, but it is complete and just shows my determination to get it done!!!! I know each video will show improvement and thus I will be able to track my progress!!!
So after I finished the video and had a little boo boo on the edge of the circle, I decided to come in with the Simple Mosaic Stencil
You will be delighted to see all the awesome images Pat is releasing today at Technique Junkies Stamps!
My first project features the Rose Frame Stamp!!!!
Isn't it Beautiful? I coloured it with Copic Markers and then used a Gold Nuvo Glitter Marker to create the frame. I intended to make a card, but then decided I loved the image and wanted to keep it for myself. So. I created a page to put on the inside cover of my day planner. I cut a piece of text patterned paper to size and used a couple of stencils on the background.
Who does say our dreams have to just stay dreams. Are Dreams not goals when driven into action?
It may require some effort, but one can bring their dreams into fruition with determination and effort. I'd chat more about that, but we have a stamp release to talk about!!!! So, before I get sidetracked again, let me share some details abotu this card.
Before stamping the Sentiment on the Panel, I created a soft backgroud with the
and Viola!!! , this clean and simple card is complete!!!! I LOVE it!!!!
