Good Morning!!!!!
This week, the IO DT is featuring LOVE cards, yep Love!!!!
What can be sweet then these two little Bees?
It's funny, the cards that I've been creating as of late have been evoking some pretty cool memories.
As I'm blogging, this card made me think of my Father.
When I was a child, Sunday Drives were a regular occurrence.
Who knew where we were going to venture to, but sometimes we would stop and have some lunch or dinner, depending on where our travels took us to.
At the restaurant, I was pretty consistent. It was usually Fish and Chips and Orange Pop (I'm not a huge fan of Fish and Chips anymore and Orange Pop? Well, that just makes me cringe.
Anyway, in case you're wondering where the Bee's come in, it was usually when we sat down at the table to peruse the menu, my Dad would ask me; "What are you having today Vic, an elephant's ear on a bun, or bee's knee's on toast. Of COURSE that would set of a fit of giggles with Dad insisting both options were quite tasty. I've yet to try either, but who knows, maybe bee's knees are a delicacy somewhere in the world?
I combined old and new stamps to create my card. I coloured the Bee's in Comic and added some delicious glitter to their wings.
Have you tried the Stamper's Anonymous Glitter Duster yet?
It's my FAVORITE tool!!!!
Here are the links for the stamps I used:

This is such a sweet card, Vicki. And I just loved your story about your dad. Our fond memories are so precious. Thanks for sharing a slice of your life. It made me smile, and brought back some of my own.
