Impression Obsession Hops with CardMaker!





Welcome to the CardMaker and Impression Obsession Blog Hop!

For my Sweet Winter Scene, I used the following Dies:

I capped the Brick house with the Snowy Roof Die

I used Glitter and Ultrafine Flowersoft to mimic the ice and snow!

Impression Obsession and Flower Soft Blog Hop!

For my Card, I used the Beach Chair Image. I added some Ultrafine Sand Flowersoft to create the sand and a wee bit of Ultrafine Toffee to add some dimension to the towel. I have to tell you that Impression Obsession has so many images that work well with Flower Soft. From Floral scenes, nautical, Americana.........well I could go on and on..........I just have to say that there are so many amazing images to choose from!!!! I kept the card fairly simple with a little Magic Mesh to ground the main image and some hemp and seashells for embellishments. The Rub on is from SU! The image is coloured with Copic Markers!

Impression Obsession February Release Hop


Good Morning and Welcome to the Impression Obsession February 2021 Release Celebration!

If you came from the Impression Obsession Blog, you are in the correct place. If not head over to the Impression Obsession blog for the start of the hop.
Each day (Feb 1st & Feb 2nd) you can find a list of participants on the Impression Obsession Blog. We will be giving away THREE Impression Obsession $25 gift certificates for the event - so the more you comment through our Release Celebration the more chances to win!
All comments for each of the event days will be open until Monday Feb 4th at midnight CT. All winners will be announced on Tuesday Feb 5th on the Impression Obsession Blog.
Today I'm sharing two cards with images from one of my FAVE IO designers-Nola Chandler

My first card uses the super cute Tricycle Hugs card, coupled with the Hugged You Sentiment
I coloured the image with Copic Markers, colouring and cutting out the basket for a second time, so I could add a little extra dimension to the card.


My second card uses the Lemon Stamp, which I coloured to represent Lemons and Limes... I didn't want to be discriminatory lol.....

If you look closely, you can see the little lemons on the background of the card.

I added the Big Squeeze  ( AND NO, not Dr. Pimple Popper!) sentiment.
I think the bit of gingham ribbon sets it off quite nicely.

Impression Obsession June Release Hop- Day 1








Welcome to the June Release Hop!

June 15th & 16th The Impression Obsession Team will be sharing new projects with the NEW clear stamps and dies! You can find a list of participants on the Impression Obsession Blog each day through the event.

Good Morning!!! 

Being Canadian, I'm not in the habit of making Independence Day Cards; however I absolutely love this sweet set and can use it for other occasions!!!

For this card, I didn't use the flag, but rather the star instead as wee Piglet's gift to Pooh.
I coloured the images with Copic Marker and cut them out

I used the whimsical round windows die to create a fun background with a Starry Theme to match the little star that Piglet is giving to Pooh. I used this die quite often, as I find it creates an interesting background. 

I used the Thinking of you Sentiment, which can be found in the Cottage Ivy Chair Set
It's an adorable set and has the prettiest font!!!



This card is more patriotic in nature. I was thinking i might be also able to change the flag to a Canadian Flag so I can use it for our Confederation Celebration Day. 

I created the coloured background using distress inks and white gel pen as well as some vintage Photo Distress Ink.  I stamped the Pooh image right onto the Crazy Stitched  panel and created a mask to do the background around Pooh, before I coloured him in with Copic Marker.  I coloured Piglet on a separate panel and cut him out.

Impression Obsession Stamps December release blog hop






December 15 & 16 the Impression Obsession Team will be sharing new projects with the December Limited Edition red rubber stamp set. You can find a list of participants on the Impression Obsession Blog each day through the event.

Two lucky customers who place an Impression Obsession order during the Limited Edition Set release week (December15-22) will be chosen and will have a very special Impression Obsession prize package added to their orders!




For this card, I used the fabulous HUGS die!!! I love the size of it and the font!!

I cut grey shadows for each word and used the cute polka dotted paper from the Warm Reds Paper Pack for contrast

The sentiment was stamped from the Sending Hugs Stamp set onto the sentiment bar of the Deckled Tag






I wanted to create a masculine type of hugs card, so I used paper from the Textures Cardstock pad and the Wood Textures Pad. I mounted the word hugs cut from the Hugs die onto the Primitive Heart die.

Lastly, I stamped the sentiment onto a little tag die, but I can't seem to find the die set it hails from!!!

For my card, I used  the Timeless Classic clear set by DK Designs. I watercoloured the truck image with Distress and Stampin' Up! ink, along with a water brush. To add a little extra dimension to the card, I stamped the Gears stamp on the corrugated cardboard paper and along the bottom, stamping off to get less Colour. I had a fun printed paper bag that I cut for the background, along with a smidgen of a patterned paper that I created with some Diane Reavely Acrylic Paint. Lastly I added some metal gears to up the manly factor!
I'm sure my Dad would have loved this card!

impression Obsession Hop Day 3!




Welcome to the 2014 Impression Obsession Fall/Winter Release Blog Hop Day 3!
We have some beautiful new stamps to share AND Gift Certificates to give away!


Oh how I LOVE Halloween~~~ SO much that I made a few cards with the newly released stamps!


For my first card I paired old with new.......

Each day pay us a visit here and then head over and see our fabulous IO Design Team’s projects with our new stamps on their blogs (only one comment per blog per day please). Comment as you hop. Every day (Monday July 28th – August 1st), one of the IO designer blogs will be chosen randomly and a winner will be selected from comments on that blog at 10pm CT. The winner will be announced the following day along with the participating blogs for that day.

Impression Obsession Day 2 limited release


Welcome to the July Limited Release Rubber Set Hop!

July 1st & 2nd the Impression Obsession Team will be sharing new projects with the July Limited Edition red rubber stamp set. You can find a list of participants on the Impression Obsession Blog each day through the event.
Two lucky customers who place an Impression Obsession order during the July Limited Edition Set release week (July 1st– 9th) will be chosen and will have a very special Impression Obsession prize package added to their orders!



For this card, I stamped the image with memento sand ink, which allowed me to create an image that lookes like it was hand painted, rather than stamped. I coloured it with Copic Markers.

I added the sentiment with the Christmas Stitched Word Dies and added the extra foliage with the Holly and Berry Dies

Lastly, I used the designer paper from the Wood textures paper pack





I created this more modern themed card by using a non traditional colour theme.

In addition to the Red Rubber Kit, I also used the Holly and Berry Dies and the Pine Pair dies 
as well as the Wreath Builders Die
