Vera Lane Studio Sunday

Good Morning!!!

Today is my last Sunday as a Guest Designer over at Vera Lane Digital Stamps

My first card I'm featuring is The Traveller

I coloured her up with my Copic and Touch Markers

I layered all the elements onto some Designer Paper from the Authentique Pastime Collection

This Delicious Cupcake image can be found in the Cupcake Set

The beauty of a digital image is that you can make it any size you want.

Thus this giant yummy confection!!!!!

Again, I coloured the image with Copic Markers

The little sprinkles are from the Dollar Store!

Hope you enjoy!

Happy Stamping!!

Under the Sea

Good Morning!!!!

I'm excited to share this fun creation with you today!!!!!

It's a sweet surprise in a card!!!

I created this card using the Seahorse and Octupus and the Mermaid set from Vera Lane Studio Digitial Stamps.  I love the possibilities you have with digi stamps.

I created the scene (which you will see in a little bit) in Photoshop Editor

I coloured the images with Copic Markers, Nuvo Glitter Markers

I fussy cut the mermaid and sentiment.

I have this super fun porthole die from Marianne Designs and I was just itching to create a fun scene with it.

What about this cute little Octopus....... I love her little Octopus lips!!!

The glitter pens still show a bit of opacity

Here's the surprise at the end!!!!!

I had to add some Glitter accents, not only because it's the theme this month over at Vera Lane Studio
If you haven't, check out the Facebook group, it's a great group of people and you will be endlessly inspired!!!!

Exciting News!!!!

So what's up you say?

I say I'm sooooo excited!!!!!

I've been given the opportunity to Guest Design for Vera Lane Studio Stamps this month!!!

I first fell in love with Janet Klein's images when designing for Stampotique several years ago.

Her images are quirky, whimsical and oh so darned LOVEABLE!!!

I I love the versatality of her Digital images and how you can mix and match the sets and sweet Characters!!! This month over on the Vera Lane Studios Facebook page the theme is

I created this sparkly ATC card using   Akimi from the Kokeshi Dolls set

I coloured her and the blossoms in with Copic and Touch Markers

I created the fabulous background with Broken China and Peeled Paint Oxide Distress Ink along with the Everything Dandelion Background Stamp from Technique Junkies Stamps

To make this, I went direct to paper with the ink and after lightly misting the stamp with water, I pressed it into the background, holding it down for a few seconds. I lifted the stamp and voila!!! Such a cool background.

I cut the three words from the Kokeshi sentiment, which reads in full " Only from the heart, you can touch the sky".

I added some Viva Decor Drops in Gold to the middle of the little blossoms and added some dashed of Pralines and Cream Glitter.  Oh yes, I used my Zig metallic pen to do the trim on her Kimono in Gold.

Lastly, I mounted her image on Foam dots to the base and backed the image with some green glittery paper for some extra Pizzazle!!!!

I sure hope you join me this month to see more creations using these fabulous images~~~

Wooooo hooooooo!!!!

ATC fun!

Good Morning!!!!!

This is probably the first, maybe second time that you will have seen ATC's on my blog!
I've never really been much into them until I joined Vera Lane Studio Digi Stamps Facebook Group.

I first became acquainted with Janet Klein when I was designing for Stampotique Stamps.
I've always loved her style and was so excited when she started to release digital images. I have managed to collect a few over the past year and thought I'd give the ATC card exchange a go!

These are the two cards I created for the February and March trades!!!

The February theme was Love and Friendship

The March Theme was a mix up theme. You had to combine more than one set. I used three or four in this one I think!!!!

I'm really excited to see what is on for April. It's not only fun to make them, but it's really exciting to get a card back in the mail!

Have a lazy Sunday!
