Good Morning!!!!
I sure hope that you're enjoying the Blog Hop so far!!! I just can't get enough of these Beach Themed dies and I couldn't resist making a Diorama Card with the Seashell Border , Fish Set and Salt Life dies.
My favourite place to be is near, on or in the Ocean!!!! I have missed my tropical Vakay for the last couple of years and I sure hope that I get there this January. It is definately my Happy place!!! I'd love to hear where your happy place is and if you've travelled to tropical locaations, which one is your fave? Mine so far is Barbados. Love the food, music, people and the confidence in getting around the Island safely. Bajan folks are so warm and welcoming.
To make the card, I cut the dies out of Blue Fern Studio Seaside Cottage Paper. I used Night of Navy Cardstock to create the diorama card. I sponged the fish with Baby Blue Ink, then I used a touch of Cosmic Shimmer Silver Chrome Glitter Kiss. I found that the Navy Paper was a little bit too much on it's own, so I distressed it with Enchanted Gold Gilding Polish. I sponged some Tan Ink on the Salt Life Heading and added a touch of Pralines and cream glitter. Lastly, I added a string of pearls to the bottom of the card. Hope you likey!!!!
We have some beautiful new stamps and dies to share AND a Gift Certificates to give away!...

How cute is this little Teddy Bear? I think super cute. He can be found in the Beary Sweet Set by Pink Ink for Impression Obsession. I coloured him with my Copic Markers! I didn't have my IO ink pads at that point, so I used SU inks for shading, creating a background and stamping.
The stamp in the background is called Seagrass. I shaded the Mini Shell Set and Sea Birds Dies and of course adding a touch of Pizzazzle!!!!
and I bring you today's hop list:
XX'S and Oh's
--Vicki~~
Very fun designs and super beachy feel.
ReplyDeleteLife under the sea. Thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteBoth are wonderful. I really like your first one for the shading, etc. But the second one is wonderful because it has a sense of humor. A teddy out on the beach. SO CUTE!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards! Love your underwater scene and the cute bear!
ReplyDeleteNice touch with the pearls on the bottom of the card. That teddy bear is adorable.
ReplyDeleteSuper cute cards Vicki. I don't travel to tropical locations so I can't comment on that, however, I DO love the beach and we have plenty of them around us here in Nova Scotia!
ReplyDeleteYour teddy bear IS adorable!
Wow your cards are stunning. I love your first card and the wonderful shell embellishments:)
ReplyDeleteThe dies are fantastic.
ReplyDeleteThere is even a sand dollar.
Those are at the top of the list.
The bear is darling.
thanks for sharing
Wonderful cards!!! I love the new fish dies!!!
ReplyDeleteYour little sailor bear is darling! But I love the first card. It's really stunning and looks like a piece of art that should be hanging on the wall.
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are beautiful! The first one looks like a real life scene - well done!
ReplyDeleteWow, great cards. You did a stunning job.
ReplyDeleteFabulous cards. I can't take my eyes off the ocean scene. The beads are a perfect addition. Thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful release, thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteOMGosh, your diorama card is just stunning! I love the dark blue base and the pearl border!!! I really like the seagrass stamp in your 2nd card too. I grew up on the beaches of the Gulf of Mexico in FL, so tropical vacays aren't really my thing. I want something different. My favorite trip so far has been to Utah exploring the national parks and canyons there. I loved that you could be in a desert one moment and an hour later drive up a mountain and be in snow!!! So much variety compared to flat Florida ;-)
ReplyDeleteVery cool diorama card and sweet teddy bear card.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous diarama! It really looks like you are seeing the ocean bottom! Love the addition of the oysters' pearls! Your teddy bear card is too sweet!
ReplyDeleteGreat cards!
ReplyDeleteGreat cards.
ReplyDeleteThe cards are gorgeous and I love the top one. It just speaks to me.
