Welcome to our Thursday Designer Challenge for Impression Obsession Stamps
This week our theme is splashes of colour!
What a perfect way to combine one of the latests die and stamp combinations along with Ken Oliver Color Burst Powders
This card was quick and easy to create!
I started out with a blank sheet of white cardstock, sprinkling a wee bit of Ultramarine Color Burst.
I gently misted with my spray bottle and blotted with paper towel,
Then I sprinkled a touch of Violet Color burst and repeated the misting and blotting process.
This stuff is like magic! Wayyyyy cool!!!!!
Then I stamped the Wishes sentiment from the Wishes clear set in black. This created a great shadow for the Wishes Die. I love this because in the past when I wanted to do a drop shadow, I had to cut the die twice and line it up!
To make adhering the Die over the stamped sentiment much easier, I used Ken Oliver's Stick it! It's the hot diggity bomb!!!!
Lastly, I stamped the rest of the sentiment over top of the die cut and layered it onto the coordinating card front. What a fun and easy card!!!!
Find all the details on how to enter the challenge on the Impression Obsession Blog. A random challenge entry will be selected to showcase on the IO blog and you can to enter to win a $25 gift certificate to IO just by playing!
Now, get ready for a wonderful dose of inspiration and check out what the other team members created for the challenge. Have fun!!
