So sorry for the late post!!! Internet was down for a bit and then I had a wee bit of trouble with Blogger. All is good in the world now....but I do realize that it's almost Noon~ Oh boy~ Where DID this morning go?
So here it is...my fall colours card~
I created the background when I was in Texas in the Spring using a Home made Gelatin Plate. So much fun ~ I knew that this was the perfect background for this challenge
I also had to use one of my FAVOURITE stamps to date {That's because I am such an Autumn Girl~)
I LOVE Kallani's Graphics and approaches to sentiments~ Did you know she has 696 stamps listed on the Impression Obsession Site?
I really like the way the leaves turned out as well.
I started by cutting the Die Cut Leaves from the Leaves Die Cut Set
Then I splattered them with some Ink Spray to add dimension.
I did this by removing the lid of the Ink Spray (Stephanie Barnard Ink Spray Chocolate)
and just tapping on the "straw"-you know, the part that sucks the ink into the sprayer?? perhaps its a tube or a thingamajig, but whatever it happens to be, that's what you do with it.
I added some Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Sand, which gives the leaves a wet appearance. I didn't expect them to turn out so darned pretty but they did~~~
Make sure you play the challenge for a chance to win a 25 dollar gift certificate for the online store.
There are a few new changes to the challenge-one good thing is that they are going to extend it for a period of two weeks!!! Be sure to check out the
for all the details and to get direct link to the IO girls blogs~
Happy Stamping~
