Over the Moon for you!

7

I absolutely {Heart} this clean and simple card! It's not often that I gloat on my own creations, but each time I pass this card as I'm breezing by the shelf on which it sits, I can't help but smile!

If you've been following for awhile, you've seen this chubby little cherub before, because it's probably one of my all time favourite Stampotique Stamps. Baby Fleur 3 has two little siblings as well that are equally as cute!

I've been anxious to ink up this fabulous Great Moon stamp by Jo Capper-Sandon. I stamped it onto some pretty yellow DP from the Cosmo Cricket DeLovely Mini Deck as well as stamping it onto the card base. I added the sentiment in black..............and mounted sweet Baby Fleur onto the moon with dimensional dots after colouring it in with Copic Markers.

Hope this card gives you a giggle as well!

Happy Stamping

Crazy4Challenge #84 Happy Easter

Our Challenge this week is to create an Easter Card! Are you all ready for Easter? Most of our prep is being done today, so we can relax and enjoy our dinner tomorrow.

For my card, I used this adorable Digital Image from Bugaboo Stamps called Big Egg! Isn't it adorable? I coloured the image with Copic Markers and then added touches of Ultrafine Sage Flowersoft for the grass and a dab of Sunshine Yellow to his headfeathers (all two of them! hehe!) A touch of Ultrafine Diamond Glitter Jazzes up the dots on the eggs a wee bit!!!

I am totally head over heels for this new DP that I picked up last weekend while on a shopping excursion with my Besties! It's called the Playtime Stack from DCWV. I love the Kraft tones in all the sheets!

Anyhoooo, if you're playing, Link up your creation on the C4C site..................and be sure to check out my fellow crazie's creations!

Do the Polka.........with Impression Obsession

This weeks Challenge over at the Impression Obsession Blog is to use Polka Dots and/or Circles on your card. I just recently purchased this adorable Chicken Image as well as the Dot Tag Medium and have been dying to use it!

I added Shading to the Chicken with Copic Markers and created a Barnyard type ground look with Copics and Dabs of Darker Shades to create the sandy look. I then Cut the main image out with a Deckled Oval from Nestabilities and sponged the inner area with soft Sky. I also sponged a small amount of Mustard Ink underneath the sandy section.

The sentiment, swirl and heart are Rub a Dub Rub Ons from Cosmo Cricket. Check out the Impression Obsession Challenge HERE

What's Rugby without a little mud.............

I've been a Football Mom since Jon (formerly known as Jonathon) and now apparently Jonathon was 9 years old. I wasn't really prepared to be a Rugby Mom, but let me tell you.........what an EXCITING Game!

The Junior Black Knights played their very first KASSAA Game today against the Panters.

It rained all last night and coupled with the low temperatures, it was very very chilly on the field.
Unfort

Unfortunately The Knights lost to the Panthers..........there's always next week though! They had the opportunity to Travel to Washington DC a couple of weeks ago, where they won 2 out of 3 games! Way to go Knights~

I'm thrilled that Jonathon is involved in High School Athletics, he's made some good friends and enjoys the camaraderie of the Team

And of course, I'm the ever so proud Momma/Taxi Driver that has been getting him to and from Rugby and Football Practice the last several weeks.

I'm very proud of my young man and am looking forward to his first Football Scrimmage Tomorrow evening!

Back soon with a Stamping Project!

Hugs

A Touch of Colour

to the Sepia Toppers, just make the POP!!!! I adore these sweet toppers, whether you leave them plain or dressed up, they look great!!!! This little fellow is from the Hearts and Flowers Sepia Toppers

In addition to colouring only the Tulip and the Stem, I added a touch of glitter to the edges of the Tulip and to the wee heart on the envelope on the main image. Designer Paper is from K&CO. I really like how it matches the Tulip image. Flower is from CTMH.

I also created this card for the Unscripted Sketches Challenge. Feel Free to play along with their great sketches

Flower Soft Challenge # 27 Sweet Treats!

Our Challenge this week is to create a "sweet treat" project using Flower Soft Products. That is anything food related! I had a blast making this fun Easter Centrepiece for my table! It's hard to believe that Easter is just 4 days away.........guess it's time to run out for some Chocolate. I NEVER buy my Easter chocolate too early because I just love Chocolate tooo much.........the Easter Eggs that you see in my sample, where temporarily borrowed from my friend Kim. After taking the picture, they got safely deposited back on her area of the stamping table............ I do have to say that she shared and well, they were yummy!

I used the Easter Fun Paper Crafting Kit to make the piece that is the focal point of my fun Easter Bucket. This Kit contains 8 fun sheets of 3D cut outs covering 4 fabulous Easter designs all specifically created to work with the Flower Soft® display globes. Simply follow the number guide to cut out each element, then using foam pads or silicone glue to create height, layer up each element onto the main image.

In addition to using the Kit, I added a wee touch of Polar White Flowersoft to the Bunny to fluff him up a little. With the weather we've been having this week here in Ontario, he could use a little extra fur!!! Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.....!

Make sure you check out the Flowersoft Forum on Splitcoaststampers to play along and link up your creation~

Stampotique Designers Challenge #28-Newsprint/Book Pages

This week our fantastic host, Jo Capper-Sandon has challenged us to use newspapers/magazinenewsprint on our creations. Our challenge is open to any stamps this week, so please join us by linking up directly to your creation HERE on the Stampotique Designer Challenge Blog. We will choose a winner randomly and announce it at our next challenge.

I used tons of fun products available at Stampotique Originals for this challenge. What do you think of this fun sentiment? You can find Altered2cute here at the online store. In addition, I stamped Owl with Wings and coloured him in with Copic Markers. I used the Tim Holtz Tattered Florals Die cut and Stampin' Up DP to make the flowers. I inked the edges with Tim Holtz Stormy Sky Distress Ink. The centre of the Flowers are Tim Holtz Sprocket Gears and the small piece of the Ribbon Ruler was actually salvaged from the packaging.

The Challenge Blog Posts new samples over a week period during the challenge, so be sure to go back to the blog regularly to see the fabulous creations!

Happy Stamping!

Happy, But Sad..............

Happy because I spent the weekend creating with my Best Friends Jacqui, Kim, Tami, Darlene, Laura and Andreanne......... we laughed, snacked....enjoyed a fine dinner out and shopped of course!!!! This is about the 6th or 7th year that we have got together for what we call "Victopia" weekend.............it's probably because of that, that the novelty of taking pictures has long passed and no cameras surfaced over the course of the weekend, except to take pictures of my creations for the blog.

Sad? Sad because the weekend passed by wayyyyyyyyyy too fast and now the London area girls are on their way home.............i'll see my Kingston girls soon, but it won't probably be until summer that I see my long distance Girlfriends

I am blessed to have the friends that I do. Speaking of Shopping, I picked up this amazing Elegant Edges Cartridge for my Cricut this weekend............there are so many fun shapes and borders that I can see myself getting a lot of use out of this one! The three shaped pieces that you see on this card were cut from this cartridge............finally a cartridge that I'm sure I can totally justify!

I used the newly released Dictionary4me set from the {Stamps} of Life as my main focal point for this card, stamped in Artichoke ink and edges sponges with Caramel Ink. The Beautiful DP is from K&Co.............sooo pretty! Kim gave me the pretty ecru pearls to embellish the edges with~! I can totally see myself getting a lot of use out of this dictionary set! Make sure you check it out~!

Happy Stamping!

Crazy4Challenges #83-Terrific Templates!

Hi everyone!

It's challenge time on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. Silke Kittmann our hostess this month has another fun challenge for us all.

Being the third Saturday of the month, this week's challenge is a sponsored challenge. This month our sponsor is Krisi's Kreations. Krisi's store sells templates which are available in a number of different formats, including PSD, TIFF, PNG, PDF & SVG.

With Easter just around the corner Silke has challenged us to create an Easter Gift .... make a basket, a box or whatever you wish.

My Gift box is fit for a Princess!!!! The Stamps of Life has a brand new release Princess4life.......a perfect little set for the Princess (es) in your life!

The Template that I used is called Tall Card Purse. WAYYYYYYYY cute! It comfortably holds up to four cards. In addition to colouring the line image with Copic Markers, I also used SEI DP, Prima Flowers, K&Co. Brads and an EK Success Border Punch!

If you decide to play along with us, all you have to do is create a card/project, and upload it to your blog and/or to your SCS Gallery using the keyword C4C83. Don't forget to come back to the C4C Challenge Blog and link it on Mr Linky so that everyone else can see it too.

Cars2drive-New Release from the {Stamps} of Life

I'm REALLY excited to share the latest release from the {Stamps} of Life-Cars2drive. I picked up this inexpensive white board at the Dollar Store and thought that with the addition of the stamps and embellishments, it would make a sweet whiteboard for my little Cousin Bryson's room.

This set is chocked full of trucks, cars and fun sentiments. Road Trip embellishment is from Karen Foster. To make the glossy initial, I inked the Chipboard letter with Bright Blue Pigment ink and then embossed with UTEE. DP is from Basic Grey and Metal Embellisments, well they're from somewhere deep down in a craft drawer.......had to dust the cobwebs off of these! lol

I used an emboss resist technique to create the Red Shipping Tag on this card. I inked up the stamps with Versamark and embossed with White Embossing Powder. I then took a red ink pad and went direct to paper, until the Shiping Tag was saturated with ink. I stamps the truck, coloured, cut it out and mounted it onto the black strip, which represents a road.

This little car set is not just for Boys. I combined the set with the present and sentiment from the Birthday4cookie set I added some Peony Flowersoft to the prezzie bow and some great P.K. Glitz Glitter to the window. Rhinestone Brads make for some pretty fun rims~! Be sure to head on over to the {Stamps} of life and check this set out!

Happy Stamping
