Hey Chickadee! The {Stamps} of life February Release

Stephanie has outdone herself this month, with the sweetest Spring set ever! Eggs4Easter has all sorts of cool images to play with!!! Like Stephanie, I am partial to the Chickie image. Although I coloured the Chickies in this card, do you know what's REALLY cool?? The solid Balloon image from HappyBirthday2you acts as the centre of the Chick, so you don't even have to colour it if you don't want!!

I wanted a whole crew of chicks.........hmmm what do you call a bunch of chicks? I know it's not a gaggle......that's for geese and well these little sweeties certainly can't be referred to as a herd!!! lol. If you know, let me know......... I suppose I could google it, but I'd be interested to hear from you!!!

I used masking to overlap the crew and coloured the images in with Buttercup Yellow.........Thanks Jeanne! I LOVE that colour on the little critters!!! I used a similar colour Cardstock with a greeny blue accent colour for the background. Decided to haul out the sewing machine as it's been a long long time and add some ziggy zaggy's! Buttons and Ribbons finish it off quite nicely I think!!!

Sorry I haven't got any CHA pics up yet. Unfortunately I came down with a crappy cold while in California and it seems to have turned into a bit of a stomach buggy! When I'm feeling a little better, I'll share some pictures and tales from my trip
