Impression Obsession -Be Crafty

Hope all is well in your world!!!

Today our theme is be crafty!!!

I'm crafty almost every day, but perhaps this week, i'll be just a little craftier!!! 

  

I was working on a custom sign and since I was in my Silhouette Studio, I decided to create a few simple easter cards!!! They are lovely as they are, but in the spirit of the theme, I decided to ramp it up a bit and fancy up the plain card with a die cut, some extra bling and a stamped sentiment.

This Bunny Border  die is an oldie but goodie and I usually always use it at least once

at Easter. I chalked some soft pink into the ears and added some nuvo drop eyes. I had some tiny little gold half pearls, which made for super cute bunny noses

I added the Happy Easter Sentiment from the 

Easter Basket Clear Set

IO Stamps Obsessed with Die Cuts

Hey Everybody!!! Im super excited to share my planned project with you!!!

I used a bunch of dies to create my first planner page!!!

I'll list all the dies at the end!

I cut my page to 8.25 x 5 to fit a six ring planner

So far, I have the Feb Title page and second page completed.

I added the little tag for a bit of dimension , stamping LOVE words onto the background for additional texture and added the middle of the Scribble Heart die and the Heartbeat Die for more interest!

This shows the front page with the tag flipped over.

I'm going to add a fave feb picture to this spot!

For these two pages, I used designer paper with a whack of dies, which I will list at the end of the post!

I created a background with some older heart stamps tone on tone onto Kraft paper as I love the Kraft

and pink combo!!!

I made a super cute pocket to hold the tag, for which I can add a to do list, or photos etc.

I stamped the pocket with two of the January stamps

I adore this sentiment

We can't always choose the music life plays for us

but we can choose how we dance to it.

Isn't that the Truth?? LOVE LOVE LOVE it!

Old is New at IO Stamps

Good Morning!

Hope you enjoyed the February Release!

Today we're sharing some of the older IO products.

I created this super soft and pretty Valentine with the Heartbeat Die and My heart beats for you Stamp

 

I layered two stencils from a Colorful Life Designs:

Heart Fade Die with Victorian Velvet Distress Ink

Primitive Batik in Spun Sugar

Layering the stencils gives such a soft and pretty background

I cut the die from a very pretty glittery pink and in real life, it is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!

I also used the Tag from the Stitched Tag Die to ground the sentiment!

Not sure who will get this one {unless I get a sweetheart before V day!}

but it sure is pretty!!!

Impression Obsession February Release Hop Day 2

Hey Friends!

Welcome to Day 2 of the Impression Obsession February Release!!!

I have a couple of fun shares for you today

I created this fun card with the Fish Scale Background Die and the new Dance stamps

I made the background using Alcohol Ink on Glitter Paper! 

So super shiny and pretty. The photo just doesn't do it justice~

This card also features a new sentiment called Herself. I stamped the sentiment onto some Gelli pressed paper I made and then cut the paper along with some designer paper out with the Tag with Capped top die. I added the little embellishment with the  Potted Cactus die.

Impression Obsession February Release Hop

Today I'm sharing two cards with images from one of my FAVE IO designers-Nola Chandler

My first card uses the super cute Tricycle Hugs card, coupled with the Hugged You Sentiment

I coloured the image with Copic Markers, colouring and cutting out the basket for a second time, so I could add a little extra dimension to the card.

My second card uses the Lemon Stamp, which I coloured to represent Lemons and Limes... I didn't want to be discriminatory lol.....

If you look closely, you can see the little lemons on the background of the card.

I added the Big Squeeze  ( AND NO, not Dr. Pimple Popper!) sentiment.

I think the bit of gingham ribbon sets it off quite nicely.

I made this into a shaker card and inserted a ton of love hearts.

I think they might be meant for fingernails, but I love them for shakers!!!!!

And then of course I used the Super Fun Love Box set to create this awesome Valentine!!!!
