The Pink Elephant Challenge #43

Colour Me Beautiful!

This week, Ella has us using our favourite colouring mediums. I would have to say that I have two favourites...Copic Markers and Prism Pencils. I also love to watercolour, but haven't done that for quite some time!

This week, our Sponsor is CC Designs. I chose to colour Sweet Kiki Larue.......an image that is available in rubber and digi. Oh my gosh they have the cutest stamps by CC Designs over at All That Scraps. Be sure that you head over the The Pink Elephant Blog to see the wonderful CC images from the Design Team ladies and play along with us! What is your favourite method of colouring?

Hope you have a wonderful week!

Happy Stamping!

Kimmie's Krafty Blog Hop!

Today marks the release of the December images from Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps! There are 4 new images from Crissy Armstrong, 4 new images from Annie Rodrigue, two new sets of sentiments and two new images from a brand new artist, Jean Grant! You’ll get to check out all the images throughout our fabulous blog hop!!

If you've just arrived here from Kraftin' Kimmie's Challenge Blog, then you're in the right place! After feasting your eyes upon Jovial Josephine, you'll have a real treat when you hop on over to Lacey Stephen's Blog......wow, she has some great scrapbook Layouts!

If you want to start from the beginning, just head over to the Kraftin’ Kimmie Challenge Blog! As you hop from blog to blog, be sure to leave a comment at each and every stop because three lucky stampers will win packages of stamps from the new release!! And when you’re done hoppin’, be sure to head over to the Kraftin’ Kimmie store, because ALL the new images are NOW available!

I coloured Josephine ( I am totally infatuated with her, her sayings and her little love potion bottle!) with Copics. To keep the earth Tones, I did the Hearts in Salmon Red with Brown (E08) shading... I used Fruit Pink for the lighter areas. She Looked like she needed some stitching, so I zig zagged my way around the Basic Grey Indian Summer Paper and the main image as well. I cut the heart freehand and stitched it onto the card with a straight machine stitch. I am really Pleased with how this card turned out. I initially thought about adding a little more here and there, but then decided that sometimes less is more.

I hope you enjoy your Sunday! I'm going to have a lazy day today, just because I can!

Happy Stamping!

Getting Punch Happy and Touchy Feely!

Is that sounding a little aggressive? lol~~~ Actually I'm keeping my hands to myself! Punch Happy is the C4C Challenge this week (week 13) and Touchy Feely is the Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge for this week (Week 8). Again, I combined the two challenged to create my Stuck on You card. What do you think of Bonnie and Clyde? They are quite the couple aren't they? Do you think they're being extra cautious not to Tangle their porcupiney quills? Do you suppose they have a prickly relationship..........lol! Okay enough already.........Bonnie and Clyde are new December release stamps from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and illustrated by Crissy, who happens to be our Challenge Hostess this week!

The challenge is to add elements that would create texture in the card. To do so, I cuttlebugged the brown layer, added a metal photo corner and ribbons and a button of course!!! Make sure you check out the Challenge Blog to see the DT creations and to find out exactly how you can win a free stamp by playing along with us.

Over at Crazy4Challenges we're pulling out our punches to go full out and get punch happy on our cards. I just picked up this very cool MS Daisy Punch this week at M's. The Scalloped border is also a MS punch. Kraftin' Kimmie has been our sponsor this month and if you head over to the C4C blog, you are going to see some great samples for the upcoming release from our very talented Crazies!

Here's another sneak peek for you. It's Daddy's Little Girl..............she'll be available this December release as well!

Don't forget to come back tomorrow..........Kimmie, the Krafty Girls and Krafty friends will be Hoppin'!

See you then!

Kraftin' Kimmies December Release Preview

Ohhhh the eye CANDY that you will feast your eyes upon today is going to be UNREAL. I've had a chance to see some of Kimmie's Krafty Girls preview cards and I have to say that they are UNBELIEVEABLE~~~ This month, Kimmie has some super talented Krafty Friends playing along, so for a complete list of Preview sites , head on over to the KK Challenge BLog. We have two days of previews, followed by a HUGE blog hop on Sunday!!!

Funky Drucilla thinks that love is in the air...............if it doesn't come to her, she's going to get a little help from her dolly friend to make it happen.........she is deliciously macabre, which is what I love about Annie's images. I coloured her with Copics, I love to use Eggshell and Sand to make an antiquey/teastained effect. The Designer Paper is from Making Memories (glittered) and Graphic 45 (dotted)Buttons, Bows and my new EK Success Border Punch Complete the Look. The sentiment is one of two new sentiment sets that Kimmie will be releasing this Friday!

Hope you have a wonderful day, enjoy the talents of my Krafty D Teammates and I'll see you tomorrow with the C4C Challenge, KK Challenge and another preview.

Happy Stamping!

How about Sweet Schu? This little character is available at Stampotique!!!

I love the rich colours of this Cosmo Cricket Paper! It's yummy....the rust and chocolate is a retired paper.
