Kratin' Kimmie's Krafty August Hop!

Today Kraftin’ Kimmie Stamps is releasing their new spoooooooooky August images! Sooo I created two cards for Today's Hop using Three images: Witchy Poo, Pumpkin Miles and Mitzi the Mummy

I Stamped Ms Poo..........lol.................Witchy Poo and Drew the moon in behind her. Although she is coloured in Copics, the Moon is done with Prism Pencils!!! The DP is from Basic Grey and Miles is in Copics as well! I couldn't resist making her green like my Fave Witch........Elvira Gultch! The Wickedest Witch EVER!!!!!


I couldn't resist using her little Kitty as an embellishment along with Kimmie's new Halloween Sentiments.



Finally, Mitzi Mummy's on the prowl for a Wrap! She finds that those Heavy Bread Sandwiches go straight to her hips!!!! I coloured her with Copics, doing all her shading with Prism Pencils.........Did I mention that Paula got me hooked on those pencils!!!!

Kraftin' Kimmie's Spooky Peeks part two!

Vic the Vampire with his furry little friend is scouting out the Haunted House for Treats! What's your favourite Halloween Treat? I think that mine are Molasses Kisses........second to Chocolate of course, but you can get Chocolate ANY time of year! Kiss Candies are usually only available at Halloween....... a lot of people DON'T like them, so the cool thing is that I used to trade more common candies for those and I'd have a stock pile that would last me until Christmas!

Lots of Glitz and Stickles on this card! I used Pink stickles and Pink Chunky Glitter. The Sand dollar is from Cape Cod.............Oh yes, I wanted to mention that the Sand on my Miles card from yesterday is actually a newer product from Flower Soft-Ultra Fine Sand.........it looks and almost feels like sand! Hope that you'll come back tomorrow to see what I have for you!

Kraftin' Kimmie's Saturday Challenge #25-For the Boys

Super Talented Krafty Girl Melanie has challenged us to create a masculine card this week! Fun! I have a tendency to make more feminine cards, so masculine is good! I think Gone Fishin' is the perfect image for this theme! Huck and Lady are in for a fun filled day at the Fishin' hole on a sunny Saturday afternoon.


this card was fairly quick and simple to create. I coloured the image with many copics adding road in with warm greys and some blades of grass! The DP is from Jillibean and the Base cardstock is from Prism and has just a wee hint of green, but closely matches the buff colour of the polka dots. The punch is from Martha Stewart and the Big Brads from DCWV. And now, about my card! I used the Very Sweet You make me Happy Stamp as my main image. This little girl and bear make me smile!!! I used Sketch 162 from Card Positioning Systems, which is being Sponsored by Kimmie! DP is from the green at heart collection , Basic Grey. Olive Cardstock makes the base. The image is coloured with Copics, the Brads from Memory Makers.

I used Punches from MS and EK success to decorate the inside of the card and a Scalloped Oval Punch to highlight the sentiment! Hope that you're as excited about this fabby release as I am ~

Kraftin' Kimmie's Saturday Challenge #23

Krafty Girl Jeanne has challenged us to bring out our Die Cutters and Punches and get creating! I had a lot of fun colouring Ophelia. Isn't she a beautiful image? Of course she was coloured with Copics and I used some fine glitter on her wings.



Using Punches from Martha Stewart and SU! I created a large border and a scalloped edge to the lighter cardstock, which I embossed with a cuttlebug embossing folder. I used a beautiful crocheted flower, which was made by my good friend Andreanne. They are so pretty that I've been hoarding them, but this colour was perfect for my card!

I coloured Josephine ( I am totally infatuated with her, her sayings and her little love potion bottle!) with Copics. To keep the earth Tones, I did the Hearts in Salmon Red with Brown (E08) shading... I used Fruit Pink for the lighter areas. She Looked like she needed some stitching, so I zig zagged my way around the Basic Grey Indian Summer Paper and the main image as well. I cut the heart freehand and stitched it onto the card with a straight machine stitch. I am really Pleased with how this card turned out. I initially thought about adding a little more here and there, but then decided that sometimes less is more.

Kraftin' Kimmies December Release Preview

Ohhhh the eye CANDY that you will feast your eyes upon today is going to be UNREAL. I've had a chance to see some of Kimmie's Krafty Girls preview cards and I have to say that they are UNBELIEVEABLE~~~ This month, Kimmie has some super talented Krafty Friends playing along, so for a complete list of Preview sites , head on over to the KK Challenge BLog. We have two days of previews, followed by a HUGE blog hop on Sunday!!!



Funky Drucilla thinks that love is in the air...............if it doesn't come to her, she's going to get a little help from her dolly friend to make it happen.........she is deliciously macabre, which is what I love about Annie's images. I coloured her with Copics, I love to use Eggshell and Sand to make an antiquey/teastained effect. The Designer Paper is from Making Memories (glittered) and Graphic 45 (dotted)Buttons, Bows and my new EK Success Border Punch Complete the Look. The sentiment is one of two new sentiment sets that Kimmie will be releasing this Friday!

Two, Two, Two Challenges in one- Kraftin' Kimmie and Crazy4Challenges

What fun! Two, Two, Two Challenges in one!!! Kraftin' Kimmie is our sponsor over at Crazy4Challenges for the month of December. Our Superdeduper Hostess Frances, came up with a very fun easel card challenge for us this week and Kimmie is giving away three Kimmie Stamps to one of our random players!!! What more could you ask for?

One more tidbit of EXCITING EXCITING news!!!! Michelle Boyer is now officially a Krafty Girl......was there any doubt about it EVER?? Well now she's a Craftin' Kimmie Girl! I was SO hoping that she would join us full time on the Design Team as I LOVE LOVE LOVE her Schtuff!

The second Challenge, the weekly Kraftin' Kimmie Challenge is hosted by the oh so talented Niki Estes, who challenged us to use stitching on our cards this week. My sewing machine has been about as ornery as a bear with a sore paw lately, thus faux stitching for me this week!

Make sure you visit Niki's blog, because the image that she uses for her project could be yours (well, Kimmie will send you a new one of course!) just for playing along!

Now, about my card! I used Prismacolor pencils to colour sweet Antoinette and Sprinkled some sugary glitter onto the white areas to give her a little pizzaz!!! Paper is from FIGGY Pudding Basic Grey. See the Faux Stitching? Did that with white gel pen.
