Impression Obsession Fall Die Blog Hop-day three

Good Morning!

Now we've come to the final day of the Blog Hop

I'm hopping from Halloween to Christmas today to feature the Beary Christmas Die Set that accompanies the Beary Christmas Stamps. These sets accessorize with the Beary Sweet Stamps and Dies. I knew these sets would look awesome in front of the Fireplace Die. I coloured all of the images with Copic Marker, using some Sparkle Fluff on the white fluffy areas. I completed the card
using the Ho Ho Ho Die sentiment.

I sure hope you've enjoyed all of your "Hop Stops"

Be sure to comment on the blogs for a chance to win one of four Gift Certificates. For all the deets, visit the  IO BLOG

I used the Paint Splatter  stamp with Canary Yellow Ink to ground my little Pumpikin!!!! Yep, that's no typo, 'cause that's no Pumpkin, it's a Pumpikin because it's just way too cute!!!!

Now put your sunglasses on for this one!!!! It's a bedazzling wonder.
I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this Halloween Silhouette Die. It's called Halloween Scene. Super cute on it's own and fun on top of the Purple Glitter. Pairing it with the Bat with Sign. Just takes it clean over the top!!! What do you think of those googly eyes?

IO Stamps Thursday Designer Challenge: Harvest Hellos

Ahhhhh it's that time again.....well almost. Sweater Weather, Crisp Autumn Leaves and of course the time of year when I can make my favourite kind of card, Halloween Cards!!!!!!

I made this car using the delicious new Witch Line Die. How fun is this?? I cut the die out four times so that I was able to get a variety of colours. I coloured the spider web and line with Silver Metallic Pen. Lastly, I punched a 13/4" circle in yellow so that this stylish witch was flying up against the moon. Super easy, but I LOVEEEEE it!!!!!

All of the new stamps are fabulous, but I'm partial to the two sets I'm going to share today!!!!

The first  set is called Happiness is Homemade

For this card, I watercoloured the image with My Zig Clean Brush markers onto a shipping tag!

This set is perfect for homemade gift giving. There are three images in the set, plus the sentiment! A great value!

I coloured this image with my . Chameleon Color Tone Pencils. I really like how I was able to gete the variances in colour in the apple. The sentiment (and if you look closely at the card base) and leaves come from the Autumn Set

This is a super fun stamp called Star Collage. I must have been in the mood for shipping tag art and I paired it with a sentiment from Sentimental Sayings

Here's a more masculine version!!!!

The sentiment is the "Dad'" portion from the Hat's off to Dad set!!!

I will have a lot of fun shares for you this month!!!!

Bleach Blocking Challenge with Technique Junkies Stamps

Good Morning!!!!!
I can't believe the week is half over!!!  One day closer to the weekend!!!!

Welcome to our newest challenge!

You will have a whole month to complete the challenge. Enter as many times as you wish using the link list at the bottom of the post for a chance to win a $25 Technique Junkies Gift Certificate!
You have until September 10th to enter. Winner will be announced September 11th.

A few simple rules.

You must use Technique Junkies stamps to be chosen to win a prize.

If you don't have any Technique Junkies stamps feel free to play along and link your project but you will not be in the drawing for a prize.

You must use the challenge technique in your project (that's the challenge!)

No linking old projects. Projects must be new.

Please list Technique Junkies stamps with links in your project posts.

Please link directly to your project (not a general blog).

If you have a problem linking to the challenge contact Jeanne

The challenge is... Bleach Blocking!
You can see the original tutorial HERE

For my first card, I only blocked one spot, but I used a paint brush to pain squiggles and dots in the bleach. I thought this would be a nice aquatic background for the Swirl Turtle and the Advice from a Sea Turtle  sentiment! A quick and easy, but striking card!!!!

I used much more blocking with this card (and a couple of flicks of the paintbrush for some extra splotchiness). I used the Contemporary Floral stamp along with the sentiment from the With Sympathy set. Again, a quick and easy card. While I had the bleach out, I made a few more background to have at the ready when I want to make a quick and simple card.

Like these stamps? You can use the Coupon Code to save on these oldies but goodies~

Sprinkle and Sparkle a little love

Good Morning! Hope you're enjoying a nice weekend.

With having broke my knee cap, my summer's been a write off in terms of outdoor stuff, but that leaves me some more time to create!

I'm getting along a little better, so I think I may venture out to the farmers market this morning and i'm going to try to drive the car this afternoon!

Today's my guest spot day over at Vera Lane Studio and I'm sharing two creations using her fabulous new release Sprinkle and Sparkle fairy sisters. They are just too cute!

Bot images come with and without text, which makes them super fun!!!

Joy Shared Multiplied

I wanted to share another newly released stamp from Technique Junkies Stamps!

The stamp is called Hibiscus Panel
It took a bit of work to get this look, but it wasn't too taxing!!!

Here's how I did it!

First, I stamped the main image in Versamark and embossed in black.
I coloured the flowers in with My Zig Clean Brush Markers and cut the flowers off the image

To make the background, I played with my Distress Oxide Inks in

Pistachio, Broken China, Peeled Paint and Wilted Violet.

I used my sponging tool to make circles in various colours

I layed my Gothic Swirl Stencil over the panel and sprayed it with water.
I lifted the stencil and gently dobbed the excess water off. that a word? Well maybe dabbed.....dabbed, dobbed , wipe up the extra water already!!!!

I heat set the panel and then using purple ink, stamped the image onto the background using my misti. Why did I use the MISTI you ask? Well, so I could stamp again with Versamark ink so I could then emboss it with clear embossing powder. Supah Cool!!!!

I took the cut flowers and mounted them over the main image

Lastly, I stamped the Joy sentiment, which is from the Sentimental Sayings stamp set

Where did 21 years go?

Jon is 21 today.......holy pete! I almost can't believe it.
I wanted to make him a card that was reflective of something he likes to do, which is to fish.

I used the Bobber Box stamp as my main focal point. If you look closely, you can see i've used the

Fishing Line stamp on the background to add a touch of dimension

I coloured the image with Copic Marker, adding some ZIG Pen highlights to the metal areas.
I achieved the vintage look by sponging over the entire image with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. As you can see, there's a little highlight in the middle. I eased up with the sponge there.

Lastly, I used the Build your own Message set to add the sentiment.

It really does pay to keep things around in case you need them. I've had these little metal numbers and letters from Making Memories for as long as I can remember. They were perfect to personalize the card even more!!!! I'm glad to say he liked it very much!!!!

I created this card for My Great Uncle who is turning 92 later this month. Now that's a feat in itself! It's not to often one enjoys 92 years of living. He will have his 70th Anniversary next year!!!

I'm wishing Uncle John, much good health and happiness in the coming year

I took the opportunity to use my newly release Seth Apter images to created a fun background with the card.

They can be found in the RPM's Clear Set or individually on the IO site

Of course I used my fabulous IO inks in

I wanted the background to really stand out, so I used the Happy Die Cut and matching Clear Set

A quick and easy card, but quite striking I think!

Hope you had a wonderful weekend!!!

Under the Sea

Good Morning!!!!

I'm excited to share this fun creation with you today!!!!!

It's a sweet surprise in a card!!!

I created this card using the Seahorse and Octupus and the Mermaid set from Vera Lane Studio Digitial Stamps.  I love the possibilities you have with digi stamps.

I created the scene (which you will see in a little bit) in Photoshop Editor

I coloured the images with Copic Markers, Nuvo Glitter Markers

I fussy cut the mermaid and sentiment.

I have this super fun porthole die from Marianne Designs and I was just itching to create a fun scene with it.

What about this cute little Octopus....... I love her little Octopus lips!!!

The glitter pens still show a bit of opacity

Here's the surprise at the end!!!!!

I had to add some Glitter accents, not only because it's the theme this month over at Vera Lane Studio
If you haven't, check out the Facebook group, it's a great group of people and you will be endlessly inspired!!!!
