Impression Obsession Thursday Designer Challenge-Friends Forever

Good Morning!!!!
Hope you're week has been going well. Yesterday was a long day and since i'm blogging this the night before you read it, I'm going to keep it short and sweet!!!
The challenge today is Friends forever!
I like this challenge because I know I'm blessed with forever friends, but have had a very strong reminder of the love and support that surrounds me and my family through my dads illness
It never ceases to amaze me. As I mentioned before, creating cards is my solace;brings me peace of mind and is but a brief escape from all that is going on around me. I know that I will be creating a lot of friendship cards in the next little while, because I have some very worthy recipients.
I also wanted to stress how thankful i've been for the comments of support in the last few weeks. Although I don't know some of you, it doesn't lessen the wonderful feeling to know that other's care. You truly do bless me

As you can see, the card is very clean and simple. I Stamped the Poppies alone stamp onto heavy weight white cardstock in Versamark and embossed. Then I dug out my old Stampin Up Watercolour pencils and coloured the image very loosely.
I added the sentiment from mini inspirations 3 and Voila! The card was finished!!!!

'Kay, so I want to see your creations this week......Please play along! You have a very good chance of winning a gift certificate.

Happy Stamping!

  1. Your card is very pretty! So sorry to hear of your father's illness!

  2. Vickie - your cards are always so special - I love this one. Simple, but says so much. Your card reminds me of how when we are young, Dad watches over us, then sometime in life, the table often turns and we must watch over our Dad. God Bless you - and your Dad. :))

  3. love the clean and simple elegance of your design.

  4. Such lovely coloring for this sweet CAS card!

Thanks so much for visiting my blog. I hope you have a wonderful day and I very much appreciate your sweet comments!
