I created this serene scene with a number of Dies from Impression Obsession
I sponged the Birch Trees with a little bit of Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Ink to give them additional dimension. For the Deer, I cut two of each image in shades of brown to create a shadow.
To finish off the snowy winter scene, I addd lots of snow with my Signo White Gel Pen. I added some glitter to the top of my torn snowbank for added sparkle!

ReplyDeleteI LOVE this card!!! I'm doing the happy dance because I already have all these dies. Consider it "cased" :)

Beautiful quote and a beautiful card Vicki!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card! Love your falling snow. And these dies are fabulous! What a wonderful scene you created. Thanks for sharing.

Your card is so perfect for that quote ... and reminds me so much of the view from my parent's living room at Christmas. A cabin set back in the woods, huge windows overlooking a small aspen grove, visiting deer looking for fallen bird seed. Love it! And thanks for the super sweet welcome to the team!! :) ♥
ReplyDeleteStill creating marvelous cards, Vicki! (((hugs)))
ReplyDeleteI love the shadow effect, it almost gives a card life.
