Biker Babe!

Hi! Hope you've all had a great week!

Mine has been super busy!

I've launched a new clothing Business and it's been taking up a wee bit of my time, but i'm having great fun with it!

I wanted to share another fun purse design with youl

This one is called Biker Babe

This was one of the most imaginative creations i've worked on in a long time!

To create the look of the "Leather" I wet down black cardstock, scrunched it up into a tiny little ball

and VERY CAREFULLY unfolded it.

Then I baked it in the oven at 250 degrees for about 5 minutes to dry it out.

I then took a metallic gold inkpad and rubbed gently over the paper to accent the high points on the paper. I added some metal accents from Making Memories and some Metal Stick on Brads from Close to my Heart.

I had a couple of clothing tags that I had hanging around, so I cut the emblem out from them.

I took the Chipboard Wings and embossed them with silver embossing powder and inked the edges in Black to give them a distressed look.

This was actually an incredibly easy design to complete and i'm totally pleased with the way it turned out!

Hope you have a great weekend!!!

Be sure to check out all the fun new designs on the Z Becky Brown Site!

News! I'm a Ziva!

Hot off the Press!

I've been keeping this news under my cap for quite awhile!

I'm excited to announce that I'm a Ziva!!!

What is a Ziva you ask?

A "Ziva" is kinda like a Diva.....a Ziva Diva Designer for

What is Z Becky Brown?

Follow the Link above to see more, but Z Becky Brown is a fabulous Handbag Company

The handbags are essentially clear acrylic, however you have an option of finishes to choose from with regard to lids and hardware! Sooo Pretty!

The Beauty is that you get to design your purse to match clothing, theme, your personality......

The Sky is the Limit!

I created this purse inspired by a Teacher Theme.

I had a retired Scrapbook Kit from CTMH that included Canvas Stickers

Other than inking the edges of the canvas Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress Ink, I only had to cut the paper to cover the templates that you can purchase to accompany the Purses!

Easy Peasy and cute too I think!!!

There is a fabulous Designer Gallery on the site, which is a go to for inspirations

Such a fun project and so easy!

Happy Creating!

Missing in Action Again, But Scrappin~

It's been awhile since I posted. I've just found myself busy with events, self improvement and new Business  Ventures~~~

This past weekend, I was in Parkhill with my Besties at our annual Jactopia Weekend

Sadly, my photo's didn't turn out the best, but you can see them on my Facebook in my IOS uploads Album. I LOVE spending time with my girls. Laura and I ventured up Thursday evening and returned late Sunday afternoon. A whirlwind weekend for sure.

One thing I love about our friendships is that over time and distance our love for each other is solid. We may not speak for days, weeks or even months, but when we get together, it's as if we've never been apart~~~ This year, Jacqui's new niece Daphne joined us. The youngest Jactopian ever~~~ Sooo Sweet~~~ The weekend goes by way too fast, but before you know it, April will be here and we'll all be hanging out at my house for Victopia~~~

I created this Scrapbook Page over the weekend. I just LOVE this picture of My Jonathon and little Sydney~~~

I created the page using the Layout from this Months Sketch Challenge over at The Paper Loft

Be sure to play along in the challenge for a chance to win a Gift Certificate for soe of their amazing Paper. For my layout, I used Papers and Cardstock Elements from the Funkysaurus Collection

The Fun  Grunge Circle Stamp in behind the Button as well as the Sentiment is from Impression Obsession. Additional Supplies include Buttons, Linen Thread and Tim Holtz Vintage Photo ink for Sponging~~~

Hope to be back a little sooner with some more projects~

Happy Stamping~

Colours of Fall-Impression Obsession Challenge

So sorry for the late post!!! Internet was down for a bit and then I had a wee bit of trouble with Blogger. All is good in the world now....but I do realize that it's almost Noon~ Oh boy~ Where DID this morning go?

So here it is...my fall colours card~

I created the background when I was in Texas in the Spring using a Home made Gelatin Plate. So much fun ~ I knew that this was the perfect background for this challenge

I also had to use one of my FAVOURITE stamps to date {That's because I am such an Autumn Girl~)

I LOVE Kallani's Graphics and approaches to sentiments~ Did you know she has 696 stamps listed on the Impression Obsession Site?

I really like the way the leaves turned out as well.

I started by cutting the Die Cut Leaves from the Leaves Die Cut Set
Then I splattered them with some Ink Spray to add dimension.

I did this by removing the lid of the Ink Spray (Stephanie Barnard Ink Spray Chocolate)
and just tapping on the "straw"-you know, the part that sucks the ink into the sprayer?? perhaps its a tube or a thingamajig, but whatever it happens to be, that's what you do with it.

I added some Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Sand, which gives the leaves a wet appearance. I didn't expect them to turn out so darned pretty but they did~~~

Make sure you play the challenge for a chance to win a 25 dollar gift certificate for the online store.

There are a few new changes to the challenge-one good thing is that they are going to extend it for a period of two weeks!!! Be sure to check out the

for all the details and to get direct link to the IO girls blogs~

Happy Stamping~
