Inspired by Colour!

Since i've been participating in my 2012 photography project, my eye looks at the world a little differently.  Every day, whether I have my good camera with me, or just my phone in tow, I am attuned to what might be shot worthy! I was killing some time waiting to pick up Jonathon from his Football conditioning, when the Mark's building caught my eye. I've seen it before, but I think the strong reflection of the setting sun really drew my eye in

I thought this would be a perfect colour combination for a card. The orange, brown and white that is. I've never been a huge fan of yellow, but it also looks nice in the equation. I just didn't include it in my card.

I've been playing with the {Stamps} of  Life February release sets and thought this stamp set would work with the colour combination that I used. This set is called messages4friends. I had this snipped of orange and brown paper that i've saved and savoured for a bit! I used a Sizzix embossing template to bring a little more dimension to the really rust paper. Lastly, Stephanie's Fancy Labels Dies fit the scrolly image perfectly!!!!

Floral Border Punch is by Martha Stewart and I also used some Viva Decor Pearl Pen in Orange!
