Stampotique Designers Challenge # -Acetate

It’s time for another Stampotique Designer’s Challenge. This week Willy is challenging you to use ACETATE in your creation. You can make your whole creation of acetate or just use a little piece of acetate in it… there are so many possibilities.

Take a look at the fabulous Design Team samples for a lot of inspiration. Please remember, this week is a Stampotique Originals stamps only challenge so take out your Stampotique stamps and join us for a chance to win a $30 gift certificate to shop at Stampotique Originals.Link up your creation here and don’t forget: only one entry per person please!

For my focal point, I used Relaxin, one of my favourite Daniel Torrente images. I coloured her with Copics and cut out all around the image. I then added a cut out to my card base using a floral nestabilitie. I added some dimension to my acetate by running it through a cuttlebug folder and created a floral border with a cool embellie that I found in the Bargain Bin at M's!

For the interior I wanted to imitate a rainfall like pattern and add a little bit of oomph behind the acetate , so I used the Strung Background Stamp. I then stamped the sentiment-Quiet Place in not quite navy ink. Lastly, I added tad of white gel pen around the cut out border and to add highlights to the image!!!

Hope you'll play along

Hugs!
