Crazy 4 Challenge #44
Before we get onto today's challenges we have a couple of updates for you. Firstly as you may have read last week in Mercy's last challenge she hostess and she also bade us farewell. We loved having her on the team for the past 11 months.
And now I would like to introduce to you a new Design Team member .... Angela Wood. I know you will love her creations. Welcome Angela to the team!
Jessie is the super talented hostess for this month's Crazy challenges!! Today's challenge is being sponsored by My Favorite Things. Kim has been generous enough to offer a prize for this week's winner, so let's get to it!!
Jessie LOVES RIBBON, soher challenge to you is to use two or more ribbons on your card or project. You can use as many as you want, but two is the minimum!! Have fun! a
If you would like to play along with us, all you have to do is create a card/project, and upload it to your blog and/or to your SCS Gallery using the keyword C4C44. Don't forget to go back to C4C and link it on Mr Linky so that everyone else can see it too.
For my card, I used Fred Bear Hits the Beach on of MFT's sets that will be released very soon. Please see the MFT Blog for more details. I love this cute little Bear! I coloured Fred with Copics. To get that textured fur look, I used the Dirty Rag technique..........Dirty Rag! Sounds kind of icky, but you get a good result. To do this, you colour and shade your image as you like it. Then you take a small piece of an old rag ( a gnatty facecloth works well) add some colorless blender to it and dab gently over the areas to which you want to create texture. Do this in layers....for instance, if you don't feel that you have enough texture the first dabbing through, let the image dry completely and repeat! I used Sand and Toffee Ultrafine Flowersoft to create the sand
Make sure you check out my fellow crazie's creations by following the links on the sidebar. Many of our Crazies are on the MFT Design Team........so when you visit their blogs, you'll get all the scoop on this months Sneak Peeks.
A little bird tells me that the MFT Lady is celebrating her Birthday this Monday! Have a wonderful Birthday Kim! and many many more!!!!
