Quick and Easy and a few Football Pics!

Sometimes you just want to get a card done in a pinch! Although I enjoy playing with layers, textures and embellishments, sometimes I feel like less can be more. So I had just coloured up this image on a half sheet of cardstock and realized it was pretty much centred. Rather than cutting it out, I decided to cut the paper down to 4.25 inches and fold it! This gave me a one layer card. Since the image was closer to the bottom than the top, I added a little ribbon to balance it out a little more.

This image, Doctor Cat is from the Patti's Kids Collection! The sentiment is also available at Stamp N Plus Scrap N

Here's some pictures of Jonathon's first Football game of the Season........He's the "wee" guy in the 52 Jersey! Can you imagine that this lad is not even 14 yet??? Anyway, it was actually the second game, but he sprained his ankle in practice before the first game and had to be an observer for the first.

This year, he has been assigned to the Offensive Line. The past three years he'd been on a different team and played both Offence and Defence. Soooo after the game on Sunday he had a little chat with the coach, in which he exercised his skill of persuasion! Looks like the Coach is going to give him a try on both lines and if he can keep his stamina up, he'll play on both~!

It was a gorgeous day for a Football Game. This particular field backs is set on a lake, so there was a lovely cool breeze.........glad we'll be playing quite a few games out there! I'm excited about the switch in teams for Jon. This will be his last year in Minor Football and this particular Team is the minor team for the High School that Jonathon will be attending in September. In addition to working with the teachers that will coach him next year, he's building some friendships with some of the boys that will also be attending Lasalle next year!!!!

The Boys didn't win today, but they had fun. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they'll see victory soon

Happy Stamping!
