IO Stamps Summer Release Highlights-Day 2

Good Morning

Welcome to day two of the IO Stamps Summer Release Hop.

Today I am highlighting this gorgeous Holly Hocks CAC stamp

I created the background with Distress inks and then stamped the Hollyhocks in  Orchid Ink

I cut the HELLO die Sentiment in a not quite navy paper to match the card base and highlighted it with some white gel pen

I love how easy it is to create super sweet cards with this stamp to this one, I just added the

Mondays sentiment.

Easy Peasy!!!!!

Impression Obsession Summer Stamp Release Showcase

Today, I'm featuring one of my Fave IO Ilustrator's, Nola Chandler

This first card was created using the Birthday Queen Stamp Set

I coloured the images in with Copic Marker and then added the Birthday Wishes Die Sentiment available HERE

I coloured the images with Copic Marker and Cut them out. I added some glitter to the fish and then covered them with a coat of Glossy Accents

The stamps set I used is called Summertime and the sentiment comes from the

Successful Adulting stamp set.

Impression Obsession Designer Challenge-Easter Fun!

Good Morning!!

Gosh, here we all are, still socially distancing, but I have to say I have had more meaningful contact with people over Social Media as I think we are all reaching out to each other as a means of trying to stay positive during these difficult times.

I am sure life as we know it will never be quite the same once we emerge from this crisis; however I believe we will come out of it stronger, kinder and more attuned to the importance of relationships and meaningful moment.

Our Challenge this week is Easter Themed cards

Old is new @ IO Stamps

Good Morning!!!

Today, we're featuring older stamps...oldies but goodies I say!!!

How about this totes adorbs little lady from the BUNNY GIRL Set.

The bonus? This girl is on sale right now in the shop!

That's a steal, when you purchase the sale items along with the 25% off site wide coupon that's available until March 29th.

In addition to the sweet little bun bun, I also used the pretty flowers from the Magnolia Wreath Set and coupled the rest with the Sweet Easter Wishes sentiment

I coloured the bunny with Copic Markers and stamped her wee dress onto patterned paper.

How about the Viney Background on the Kraft Tag?

Did you notice it matches the pattern on the Birdhouse?

Yep, that's a Chalk Couture Transfer and Paste!!

The Vine is from the House Patterns Transfer

I used Eucalyptus Paste, which is one of my FAVE CC colours!

In addition to the Paste and the Transfer, I used the following items:

House Cutouts

Tags Mini (for the sloped roof)

The Stand is the base for the Couture Board and Pillar Set.

Ribbon is from Michaels and the little egg embellie is from the Dollarama

The metal and glass knob is from my little stash of treasures!

Good Morning!

How is everyone holding up this weekend?

Truth be known, I can't say I am not enjoying this time of isolation

I truly appreciate the slower pace and the lack of pressure to be out in the world and busy.

I am taking the time to get things organized around the house, read, chat with friends online and explore my creativity. Yesterday I pulled out my Gelli Plate and made some pretty backgrounds to showcase future stamps!!!!

Today, i'm cleaning up my craft space so I can do a live chalk couture demo!

For this card, I used the following dies:

IO Designer Challenge-Pour one on

Good Morning!!!

Anyone feeling in need of a good stiff drink??

With all that is going on in the world, it's ice {er nice!}  to step away for a bit and focus on one's creativity.  A much healthier coping strategy to deal with uncertainty and anxiety. 

My plan for the next couple of weeks while social distancing, is to do some spring cleaning, make some cards and do some live crafting vids!!!! 

This week's challenge over at IO Stamps is to create a project with a beverage theme. 

Like me, it could be a Margarita, A Banana Dacquari or a Mojito, but it might even be a nice cup of Tea or for you lovers of Beans, a Latte, Espresso or just a plain old cup of Joe!!!

For my card I use the Mixed Drink Set of dies and cut them out in a few patterns to create my drinks!

I then cut the glasses again into a plain piece of white card and mounted it onto dimensionals, so I could sink the colours down into the glasses. I added some Garnish and a little Glossy Accent to make it look drinkable!!!

I used the  Checkered Frames dies to highlight the main images and added a sentiment that I found in the Introverting stamp set. Of course I also used  the Impression Obsession Black Ink to ensure a crisp image!!!
