Our Craft Lounge Sneak Peeks!!!!

Some Delicious Sneak Peeks for you today from Our Craft Lounge! This first little project is made with the SU! Pillow Box Template for the Big Shot and Gingerbread Fun! Quick and Easy! I like to do these quick projects.......sometimes I can spend hours toiling away at one card and it sure is nice to be able to do a quick one, once in awhile! Gingerbread Fun is a clear set. I used October Afternoon DP layered over cardstock to make it firmer, SU narrow Grograin and a heart button threaded with SU linen Thread.

I am totally Lovin' the Reindeer Kisses Stamp Set. There are lot's of sweet images and sentiments in this one! Just perfect for my Christmas Card Blog group Projects, so I'm sure that you will be seeing more and more of this awesome set. Reindeer Kisses is also a clear set. I used Coredinations Paper, which allowed me to sand off a nice finish after cuttlebugging it with the snowflake template. The border is punched with a Martha Stewart Punch and I added a SU flower brad and ribbon to finish it off. The Sponging is done with Aspen Mist Versamagic chalk ink.

The inspiration for this project was sparked off by my good friend Donna, who brought Altoid tins to our Stampin' Chicka's weekend and challenged us to make something! I was going to make a gift card holder, but it transpired into a long long card!

All these fun images are from the Reindeer Kisses Set.

I Beleive the DP is from Three Bugs in a Rug, but I am horrible about saving the label bands off the paper.

Check back on Wednesday to see projects from more of the new sets. AND ... on Thursday you will definately want to check back because we are having the BIGGEST BEST RELEASE PARTY & BLOG HOP EVER! Pink Cat Sneak Peeks!

Mellisa has reallyoutdone herself over at Pink Cat Studio for this month's release! Check out these adorable little Fairies!!! They are just delicious!!!! I created this project (you won't see it in it's entirity until the sneak peeks are completed) with a base kit from Pinecone Press Flutterby Purse kit. When I was up visiting with my Stampin' Chickas last week, I found the kit at Scrapping Great Deals.......but you can purchase it online HERE

I coloured the images with Copics and added lots of glitter and glaze for Bling Bling~~~

The images are coloured, cut out and mounted on foam dots to add dimension. As you can see with the penguin, I stamped the image on the base tag so that I didn't have to worry about cutting out the little snowflake!!!!

These images are Stinkin' cute and goe so well with the purse kit, which has everything you need to complete the entire project.
In addition to our regular talented design Diva's, Pink Cat has two guest designers for this Month!
Check out what TINA and KIM have been up to!
See you tomorrow with the rest of the story................ohhhh that's the book!!!!
Happy Stamping!

Christmas Stamping Quick and Easy!

Debbie, our hostess this week, brings you this fabulous Sketch Challenge. The challenge was to use Patterned paper on the bottom of the card and embossed paper on the top. I cheated a little with this preembossed paper from Kan Ban Crafts! I always tend to go to this folder when I have slacked off and have to make a card quicks!!!! Yikes!!! this one went together in less than 10 minutes, but I must say that I am quite pleased with the results!!!!

Isn't this image gorgeous? All off the elements on the card are from KanBan Crafts, with the exception of the SU! Ribbon!!!!
Don't forget to hit the sidebar to see all the great DT creations!!!!
Happy Stamping~!

Hanna Release Partay tonight!!!!!

Yep! The Party starts HERE at 9 p.m. est! Come on out, we'll have lots of fun!

Today, I'm showcasing Sophie School Girl and the Brick Wall Stamps. This sweet image is perfect for teacher cards and perhaps a little encouragement to our young scholars! I love the brick wall as well, like the floor, it makes simple background with little effort!
Soft Suede has quickly become one of my favourite colours as it's a neutral that will coordinate with many different colours, cool and warm. I used the new soft suede ribbon as well, but put it on the reverse side as the polka dots were a little busy for this design. Accessories include paper from the safari kids stack, Stampin' UP! build a brad, scallop circle and a retired flower punch. Sentiment is from Hanna Stamps.
The Design Team Samples are smokin' hot! Follow the sidebar to see what they have in store for you!
Hope you'll join us tonight for the release.

Another day of Sneaks!!!! It's a Masterpiece

Another day of Great Sneak Peeks for the Hanna August Release. This month, these images are over the top!!!! In addition to the Hanna Artist set, Kristi has had this Red Rubber Floor Stamp made especially for creating scenes! I used to draw and colour my own wood floors, but this makes the process so much Quicker!

The amazing DP is from Graphic 45 with a base of more mustard and some Saffron Sponging to the sides of the main image to take away from the starkness of the edges. To Shade on White areas, I like to use a BG10 Copic...........I think it gives just the right depth of colour!

Only one more sleep until the release party! I'll see you tomorrow with our last sneak peek!

Did you know that sneak peeks for Pink Cat Studio and OCL start Tuesday? I have lots of neat projects to show you over this next week.

Hanna Sneak Peeks Day Two........lets get Wild!

I'm Wild over the Hanna Safari set! This Hanna has the most beautiful face and I am totally excited about the accessories that are included! I Love love love the tree with the elephants underneath and the compass is ery sweet! I used Soft Suede as a base on this card, with Saffron Accents. The compass is stamped twice one with momento black and coloured in, the second embossed with Copper Embossing powder so that I could cut out the hands of the compass and attach it with a copper brad.

Ribbon is Riding Hood Read (SU!) and the saffron layer is dry embossed with a cuttlebug embossing plate.

Now THIS was a fun, fun project. When I was away on a girls weekend we all made one of these gift card boxes. This was an easy peasy project. I was intending on posting the instructions and giving credit to the designer, however I can't seem to find them now! I will check with my gf that brought the project and post some instructions asap!

I love the Tiger's sweet face!!!! Many Copics were used in achieving a good depth of colour in this image, but the main colours being ButterCup Yellow, Ochre and Sand.

Another View! Designer Paper is from Anna Griffin, the Big Silver and Vanilla Brads are Big Brads from Stampin' Up!

A White Siberan Tiger, shade with cool greys.

Cute Little Zebra!

And my Favourite image of course!
