Crazy4Challenges #72 Vintage Valentine


Today, our Hostess Extraordinaire, Maria has challenged us to create a project in a Vintage, Distressed or Shabby Chic Style! I'm holding a Copics Class next week and this is one of the cards that we're going to create in that class! I created my card by colouring this sweet Magnolia image and Magnolia Rose with Copic Markers. I toned down the brightness of the image, the papers and the wee crocheted flower with Antique Linen Distress Ink by Tim Holtz.



The Designer Papers are also from Tim Holtz. I stamped the circle with Score stamp from the Music of my Heart set from Unity Stamp Co. and distressed the edges of the circle with the Antique Linen ink. The Tiny Tag Punch and Love Stamp are from Stampin' Up!

    Oooh how fun to do a Copics class for this card. . .it's pretty! Gosh, I haven't used my Magnolia images for quite some time now! Guess I now have to color me some! LOL! Your vintage/shabby chic card is beautiful! I love the pretty lace and colors you used. It's perfect!
