SDC53 Make an ATC

Our Beautiful Maria challenged the team to make an Artist's Trading Card this week. I think I"ve only ever made one before, so it was a bit of a challenge for me. What a tiny space to work in. For my creation I used Big Bee, Tiny bee, HoneyComb background stamp and the "fly" sentiment all available at Stampotique Originals. Be sure to visit the Stampotique Designer's challenge to enter your own creation.

If you use Stampotique Stamps, you could win a $30.00 Gift certificate for some new rubba!!!

CPS 262

This weeks CPS Challenge sketch  is being sponsored by My Favorite Things, which means you get to see another sweet sample of the Inspired by Butterflies stamp set and matching dies. The stamps and dies are sold separately, so you have the option of using the dies or stamps independently. I just love these images. Butterflies remind me of Sunshine and gentle breezes. I've seen a few already on my daily walks and am looking forward to the Monarch's return when the weather gets warmer!

Here's the sketch if you'd like to play along!

Beautiful Butterflies by My Favourite Things

Hope you're all having a great weekend. It's pretty chilly and dreary here this weekend, but a good weekend to stamp! I have a photography assignment due, so I'm hoping to beat the rain and heading out for a bit to try and get some shots!!!

This project was completed with the following products currently available at SGD!

Large Leafy Flourish

 Inspired by Butterfly Die Set

Inspired by Butterfly  Clear Stamp Set

Nestabilitie  Lacy Ovals

Nestabilities Ovals Large

Stickles-Black

The paper is an older paper that I had by SEI, but Shiela is carrying so many pretty paper pads, that you can surely find one that would work really well with the Butterflies, or you can simply stamp and colour them in! I totally LOVE the sentiment that Kim from MFT has included with this set. I very much respect Maya Angelou and her words are very inspiring.

SOOOO did I tell you HOW EXCITED I am????  SGD Diva KIM is coming to my place next weekend for a Stampin' and Scrappin' fest!!! Along with some of my other besties, the creativity in the room will be unreal. I'm sure I'll have lots to share with you and maybe they'll let me play show and tell with some of their creations too!!!!

Happy Stamping!

I chose these adorable Party Pigs for my creation along with the fun sentiment!!!

Hambo has a great collection of rubber and digital stamps! They have a whole lot more of these sweet piggies along with some other critters and peeps and such. Some of the fun sentiments they have just crack me up!!!! Be sure to check them out. I know you're sure to see these cute little porkers on my blog again!!!

I coloured the wee piggies with my Touch Markers. Paper is from jillibean and SEI.

For my card, I enjoyed colouring this beautiful Dogwood stamp. it's called Dogwood 3

Of course I coloured this with my Touch Markers. Here's my colour Map!

The image itself is so beautiful, that I decided to keep my card very plain an simple. I mounted it on a nestabilitie scalloped die cut out and added this simple sentiment from Treasured Memories, a beautiful clear stamp set with some lovely sentiments.

Be sure to play along with the challenge!

Happy Stamping!
