Don't have any Touch Twin markers? That's OK too... for now. Starting in January we will require using our markers, but for now you can use any coloring medium.

For my card, I stamped the cover a card music stamp on the Background of the Card. I coloured with my Touch Twin Markers as shown below, adding a touch of white gel pen and stickles for some extra oomph! I blended out the edges of the Petals and Leaves with my Colorless Blender.  I then cut out the image using Sizzix Framelits Fancy Labels by Stephanie Barnard.

I added some additional White Gel Pen to the Sentiment and Sponged around the Oval. To make the Leaves, I used the Small Oval Punch from Stampin' Up. I folded the ovals in half lengthwise and scrunched them up, sponging with Artichoke ink to add some dimension, I shaped and twisted them until I got the effect that I wanted.  The Borders at the Bottom of the card were created with the SU scalloped border punch.

Here's my colour map! I kept the colours to a minimum this time, but really liked the effect that I got even still!

I am TOTALLY THRILLED to share that I'm a new member of the Impression Obsession Design Team!

I've loved Mitra's images FOREVER and can't tell you how excited I was to receive her invitation to design for her!! I wanted to create a little card to share my news. Since it's Colour Challenge Day over at Splitcoaststampers I played the More Soft Tango Challenge to get my mojo going!

My card features this absolutely gorgeous Cat in the Jack  image coupled with this cute sentiment

I coloured my image with my Touch Twin Markers 

and I kept it at a minimum for a change! All the wonderful shading in the stamp, did most of the work for me!
