Good Morning!!!!!
Happy Canada Day to all my friends this side of the border and welcome to Technique Junkies Stamps July release blog hop. If you've been hopping already, you've arrived from my dear friend Ceal's blog. I have been on several design teams with Ceal over the years, but just recently met her face to face at a retreat in Texas in May. She is one of the sweetest people I know and I look forward to a time when we can meet again!!!!
This first card was created with the shells from the Seashells set
I stamped the shells in Tim Holtz Vintage Photo distress ink
I created the bottom panel by stamping the Fun Starfish background and added a touch of Nuvo Drops in Golden Sunset. Lastly, I used the sentiment from last summers Watermelon Summer set. Although there are two amazing sentiments in this set, I could NOT resist how this little stamp fit so perfectly on the card!!!!
LOVE these shells and I can see myself using them time and time again!
I was SO excited to get this awesome Inside and Out sentiment set!
There are FIVE awesome sentiments....... Sassy , Silly and Sensational~~~
This sentiment spoke to me and I just had to pair it up with this vintage lady called Red Lipstick Day
Super fun!!!!
I have to tell you, I think the sets are completely adorable this month and had fun colouring up this adorable Clam Shell
The little eyes peeping out just make me want to smile!!!!
I watercoloured the background and used the Seagrass set as a backdrop
Lastly, I used Emerald Creek's Baked Texture by Seth Apter in Dirty Sand
for the Ocean Floor!!! Love this chunky Embossing Powder. Every Ocean card needs bubbles and the Nuvo Jewel Drops in Seabreeze
So that's it for now, I'll have some other fun projects to show you later this month.

All of your cards are delightful, Vicki! Love that clam peeking out :)
ReplyDeleteI love your use of intense color - I get so tired of pastels and timid cards.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards and use of colors.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty Vickie! I love all the textures you used on the clamshell card!
ReplyDeleteYour 1st card is so absolutely stunning! Love!!! And the 2nd, OMG, that is so stinkin' funny!!! Have a friend that is just starting divorce proceedings after being separated for a year. Her husband never cooked nor cleaned. She needs a card like this to make her smile! I'm putting my stamp order together as I hop along :-)
ReplyDeleteYour first card is absolutely beautiful! Love the second and third, too!
ReplyDeleteThe shy clam is adorable!!
ReplyDeleteOH my gosh, your cards are all so lovely. I can't stop staring at them.
