Today I felt the need to lose myself in my Art
I was inspired to use the Prima March BAP Sketch as inspiration for my layout.
I've been following the Blog as me and one of my Besties, Kim are headed to Prima Art Venture Canada in April. I am SO excited to be attending!!!
I took this picture last fall when my plans for an Autumn Drive fell through
Rather than sitting at home moping, I headed out myself into the sunshine, just driving with no real plan. I ended up in a Riverside Park in Napanee Ont. The Autumn colours stunning and an amazing Great Blue Heron in the waterfall (I've yet to scrap that!)
I was walking along the path, when around the trail I came upon the couple in the photograph.
I don't know their names, but I could hear their laughter and murmurs of kind words to each other.
I couldn't resist taking a shot; their hands entwined, enjoying the day together
I would say the couple were at least in their Late Seventies. I wondered if they were life long lovers, or if their love was fresh and new. I have a feeling that they've been together for a long time, it felt like they were supporting each other and their hands melded so comfortably.
It made me smile, warmed my heart; I have to admit, it even made me feel just a wee bit envious
but most of all, I'm hopeful that one day, I will find a Love like that.
