Flying!

We had a nice surprise yesterday , when our friends asked us if we would like to go flying~!

Now, the last time I was in a small plane like this, I have to admit I ended up losing my breakfast after getting off the plane, so I was a little nervous! I decided to pass on lunch before we headed out.
It was a GORGEOUS day yesterday, sunny and warm

Here's the flight crew!

The photos were shot through the window of the plane, so they are a little blurry. This little fellow.......well actually for a Coyote, he was a good size, delayed our take off for a few minutes as he decided to plant himself in the middle of the runway for a scratch!
We fle

We flew all along Lake Ontario, through Kingston and the Thousand Islands. This is the Bridge that Joins Canada to the U.S. between Ontario and New York State.

Hart Island and Boldt Castle. This Gentleman commissioned the building of this Grand Home for his wife. Sadly she passed before completion and he halted all construction. The Estate was boarded up and left sitting empty and deteriorating for years. It was purchased much later and now is a Tourist Attraction.

We flew along the Lake to see Pauls little piece of Heaven. He also took note of some of the Shoals on the Lake for next years fishing!

Keith then made a few passes over my place, so I could snap a picture. Wow!! The deck that my Dad built this summer looks great from the air.

We're down, safe and sound. I have to admit, I did feel a little queasy while taking the pictures, but the take off and landing was very smooth and I felt quite safe in the hands of our great Pilot!

What a nice treat for a gorgeous Sunday! It was Pauls first time flying in a small plane and he was quite stoked all day!!!
