Over in the
LOUNGE they're sharing some Springtime Goodness! Our Craft Lounge has many Fabulous Spring time Sets! For my card, I used two of my favourite new release sets
Sunshine Cheer and
New Digs I am diggin' these simple one layer cards using my Nesties as a template to provide a shaped background for my images. I then made a mask of the Sun stamp and using the template that I made with the nestie and masking the sun shape into the upper left hand corner, I sponged in a background of Cool Caribbean Ink for the sky and celery ink for the grass. I then lifted my mask and stamped the sun onto the card.
I coloured the house image with Copics and added
Flower Soft Fuschia Mix to the window boxes and along the base of the house and the top of the lawn to create flower beds. I stamped the sentiment in black leaving some on the main image and then I Adirondack Stream Acrylic Paint to define the border! Make sure you check out the Lounge this week to see some more sweet samples!
Happy Stamping!
