C4C18-All Dotty with Innovative Stamp Creations!

Our Super Duper Hostess this month is Lori and she challenged us to get Dotty with it this week! Use some Polka Dots on your card. Our Sponsor, Innovative Stamp Creations sent me the most beautiful images. When I saw this gorgeous Butterfly, I automatically thought of Emboss resist.

It's been a Long time since I've used any techniques in stamping and I had a lot of fun with this. In addition to using the Butterfly as the main image, I used the smaller dragonfly and Speckle stamp to create a background and to add some additional dimension into the main image.

I felt the need to glitter it up a little bit, just adding a tad. Emboss resist is just the easiest technique.

If you've never tried it, all you need to do is heat emboss an image and then sponge or brayer ink over the image. I prefer to use sponges, so that I can use more than one colour in my creation!

Head on over to the C4C blog to see the beautiful creations and play along with us please! Would love to see what you've come up with.

I zipped home quickly to do my post, now I'm back to the lake for more skating! I am quite enjoying this Christmas Holiday and hope to be back into the swing of things, with regular posts and time to check out your blogs as well

Happy Stamping!
