Impression Obsession Slimline Stamps Hop; Let's do it again !!!!!

Good Morning!!!

Here we are again showcasing some of the new slimline dies from Impression Obsession

For this card, I created a wintery sky with some distress oxide ink and then just stamped the tree line from the Tree Line Layers set
I had originally planned to put more elements, but I loved how the ink peeked out under the stamped tree line to resemble shadows on ice. At that moment, I decided to add an silver  embossed sentiment and some glitter to the night sky.

I wanted to come up with something on Kraft Coloured Cardstock, so after experimenting a bit, I ended up with this simple card as well and I like it!!!! I combined the following stamps to create the card

Don't forget to leave some love on all the blogs for the opportunity to win a gift certificate

You can find the DT Links on the IO Blog and I will provide a full link list a little later this morning~~

Please share your creations on the Impression Obsession Fan Page! We'd love to see them!

I cut the fun hills with the Ocean Wave Edges Dies and added the sweet kiddos from the snowball fight die
I finished off by adding some white gel pen snowflakes....... LOVE!!!!

You're a Hoot-Impression Obsession Designer Challenge

Hooooot Hoooooooooooot Hooooooooot WHO?

Why it's an Owl or any of his feathered friends challenge!!!!

I had a ball creating this night background with distressoxide inks, water and a little liquid stardust!!!!

I coloured my nocturnal friend in warm greys and violets and fussy cut him and the tree branches out

Lastly I stamped the sentiment with embossing ink and embossed in what I thought was white powder , but clearly turned out to be more of a glittery startdust, thus the weak looking sentiment

That being said, I am sure the recipient will enjoy it, as they love owls!!!

All the stamps can be found in the Who Loves You set by Nola Chandler

This set also happend to be on Clearance, which is a big bonus!!!

Be sure to head over to the IO Blog to enter your creation in order to get a chance to win a $25.00 gift certificate and to see who else is playing the challenge today!!!!!

Old is new or is it Old and New?

Morning Friends~

Today I'm changing things up a bit to share a little old and new!!

I'm super excited to share two of the new slimline stamps, along with a couple of older dies!!

What do you think of my pretty peaceful winter scene?

I'm diggin' it !!!!

The two new slimline dies I used are

I love this stamp!! I stamped it in Stormy sky. The stamp iteself is 8.5 inches long!!

AMAZEBALLS!!!!! I love the flecks of snow in the scene....

to that I added one of the stamps from the
I just inked the portion of the stamp I wanted to use on my card

You see the slimline stamps will work vertically and horizontally and you can also use them for Standard sized cards!!!

Now here is where the older supplies come into play:

The Hills are created with the Ocean Waves Dies and the pretty slopes are donned with deer from the small deer set and the deer snow globe

These little deer have been used over and over and at 5.00 for the set are a steel......lol or a steal!!!

We're going to be showcasing the new slimline stamps later in the month, so stay tuned for some beautiful cards!!!!

Have an AMAZING day!!!
