For my card, I paired the Rooster 1 stamp with the Le Chanteclair background stamp

I was feeling in a French Mood given we just returned from Paris last Wednesday

Here are a few pictures from La Beau Ville!

The Amazing Eiffel Tower
It was very interesting to find out the Parisienne People did not want the tower  in their City, citing it an eyesore~

Selfie Love with My Mom <3 p="">

Delicious Macarons!!!
Mom and I participated in a Macaron Baking Class at Les Galleries Lafeyette!!!
Can't wait to try to make them at home!

My Favourite Church in Europe
Sacre Couer in Montmartre

Mom in front of the Sacre Couer

I took this picture of Notre Dame around 10 a.m. the morning of the devastating fire.
We did not go into the Church as I had been in many years ago.
My heart hurts for those who are so deeply saddened by the fire.
We had just returned to our hotel around 6 p.m., when the Concierge notified us the Church was on Fire. We watched the coverage of the fire from our room and felt sad as we watched the spire collapse. We were thankful we were able to take in the Beauty of this Parisienne icon earlier in the day.

I hope you enjoyed my creation and my mini tour of Gay Paris!

Hope to see you tomorrow with more creations from the Summer Stamp Release

Be sure to head to the IO Blog for a full list of today's links

  3. I LOOOVE your card, Vicki! Those Roosters caught my eye in the store! LOVE THEM! Your choice of papers is WONDERFUL with these images! AND THANK YOU for showing us photos of your trip! I'm SURE your mom LOVED the trip too! It IS SO SAD to see such a piece of History destroyed. They aren't built like that anymore! SO GLAD that you were able to take in it's beauty beforehand. It is a SMALL WORLD to think of watching that fire on the news & there you were over there! SO GLAD TOO, that you had a safe trip! ;)<3
