Posts are brief!!!! I'm prescheduling my posts as I'm leaving for Cuba tonight and still am not all packed!!!!! The race is on!!!!
Here's a share from a class that I will be teaching at Scrappin' Great Deals on the weekend of February 23rd. The class is learning to create a Scandanavian style of Distressed colouring with Copic Markers
I LOVE using Magnolia Stamps for this technique and have used Tilda with her Daisy
We will be making these sweet little matching flowers too!
Hey everybody! Can you believe that it's FRIDAY already? Not only is it Friday, it's Bellarific Friday and it's only THREE MORE SLEEPS until I have my Butt on a plane bound for CUBA!!! ARRRRRRIBAAAAAAA!!!!!!!
I SO can't wait to escape this frosty frosty weather! It's been way toooo BRRRRRRR for my liking~~~
This week's challenge was a sketch challenge. I decided to use my Sizzix Dies to make a Picture Frame card!!! I stamped the sweet Romantic Cage and coloured it in with my Touch Markers
When I went to link up the stamp, I see that Em has it on clearance for just $2.99 and it's a CUTIE!!!!
The Tiny Tag sentiment is from the Tiny Tag Stamp set from SU!!!
Next weeks challenge theme is
YOU ARE SO SWEET
Be sure to email Em your creations so she can post them on the Blogabella next week and you could be the proud owner of some new Stamping Bella Rubbah!!!!
I'm going to have a busy busy weekend packing and such, but will be prescheduling some posts for you to look at while I'm away!
Monday's challenge over at Splitcoaststampers was to use Dies as a central point on your card.
I have had to create a few sympathy cards lately, which I obviously am not particularly fond of doing, but they need to be done. I combined dies from Spellbinders along with The Birdcage die from Impression Obsession to create this subtle card.
Sorry I'm late with my card, but I had a fight with the Sewing Machine last night.... a big big big fight
AND the Sewing Machine won!!!!
Big Sewing machine teeth ate up my card
and NO, it's not like the "Dog ate my homework thing"
Some how the thingamajig thingy in the Bobbin Spot got hung up and mangled my card
Luckily, it only ate the bottom portion of the image, I guess it was just looking for an Appie and not the full meal deal and so I could salvage my image!!!
Of course I was inspired by the Chair and the colour combo, so I used Perry on her Laptop
Hop on over to Blogabella to see all the Fabulous Creations!
Wanted so share a couple of Layouts that I created for My Scraps & More Challenges 9 & 10
The first is of my Beautiful Mother. We were in the Mayan Riviera last January and had a wonderful time. We're on the road again soon! Off to Cuba in two weeks and this time, taking Jon and my Aunt Mary along! Can't WAIT!!!!!
This challenge is Sketch 10. Although it got away on me a bit, I still like it!
I used the fun Hexagon2love set from The Stamps of Life to create my border with Stephanies Yummy Strawberry and Blueberry Ink.......hmmmm now that 's making me Hungry.
Aren't the Lilie's Beautiful? With each day that passed, the Flowers opened up just a touch more,,,,,they were still incredibly pretty when we left Mexico after one week!
I have two posts today, so if you are here for the IOstamps Hop, please scroll down one!
I want to share this Supah Cute image from Stamping Bella! The Cupcake Theif! You can find here right HERE. She is Stinkin' Cute isn't she?
Used my Touch Markers to Colour her and then added a little Glitter and Some Chocolate Viva Pearl Pen to zip her up a bit!!! I love her Tousled Hair! Did you also see that Em has some new Uptown Girls on the Bella Site? DELICIOUS!!!

I am SOOOOOOOO excited to be sharing these samples with you today! When I saw that Mitra was bringing out not one but TWO Oz Collection Stamp Sets (Yes you can purchase them individually in Rubber if you like) I darned near CRIED!
The Wizard of Oz is my Favourite Move of all Time......Favourite Movie EVER!
I have watched it over and over and OVER.....Over the Rainbow and back again~ Several Times actually! ;-p)
I remember watching it completing in Black & White (yep, that's giving my age away!) before we even had a colour Television. And then......
I will never forget the first moment I saw it in Technicolor! The moment when Dorothy opened up the door to find a very vibrant Munchkinland!!!! I will NEVER forget that moment......AMAZING!!!!
I can recite every line of the movie, sing along with every song......
This is probably TMI, but for a few years , I would do Cowardly Lion imitations......lol. In fact whenever we had company, I was the entertainment.... I had jacked up my song and dance skills from singing the Ajax Commercial (Ajax, the foaming cleanser.....booom .....boommm ba booom booom booooom!) whilst my mother was pushing me in the cart in the grocery store when I was around two , to a full out rendition of "If I were King of the Forest" Followed by the "Courage Speech". If the truth be known, I still will do it once in awhile when egged on!!! Lol
I guess what I am saying is that I'm a Wizard of Oz FREAK!!!!
The Movie does have a Beautiful Theme though doesn't it?
Reminding us that the Grass isn't always greener on the other side.....
If we look deep into ourselves many of the attributes we long for are already within
and
There's No Place Like Home.
Thank you MITRA for bringing me JOY with these stamps
People may laugh when I say The Wizard of Oz is my Favourite Movie but....
I once read that is is Johnny Depps' Favourite Movie too....
Johnny Depp is Very Cool
and I am too!
I teamed the sentiments and the Brick Stamp up with some Graphic 45 paper and Chipboard that I have been Hoarding for awhile and now I'm Breakin' it out!!!!!
Hope you enjoyed my peeks for today..........
I truly enjoyed creating them for you
Whatever you do.......don't forget, I'm the Good Witch!

I used Beauty Roses. I coloured them with my Touch Twin Markers, choosing Yellow and Orange as these are my Mother's favourite colours for roses. The stickles make lovely dewdrops don't they?
The sentiment is called Love Above All. I framed the sentiment with the Circle Shaker Frame Die and Added Some Branch Die Leaves .The Background is a new Cover a Card Background called Beauty Text. Hope you enjoyed this little peek and that you'll come back tomorrow for some more!!!!

I'm VERY Excited to share that I am the new Hostess of the Scrapbooking Inspiration Challenge on Splitcoaststampers! Every two weeks, I hope to bring some Inspiration to you for completing some fun and interesting layouts! I was inspired by Ali Edwards Post on Instagram : One Little Word. She also has complied a list of words on her Blog. So Inspirational
After pondering and pondering, I decided that my word for this year would be Faith
Then I had to decide how to photograph my word
I received these absolutely BEAUTIFUL Gerbera Daisies from Paul on Christmas Eve. Actually they have lasted wonderfully and I've decided to try to dry them.
I wanted to capture their Beauty and then it dawned on me that they would make a perfect backdrop for my word........just had to find some letters to spell it out. I tried some Scrabble Tile, but they didn't look very pretty on the flower, so I dug deep into my Scrapbooking Stash and found these.
Then I couldn't resist laying the Beautiful Necklace that I received from Paul over the flowers
A couple more shots and angles of my word
This one I faded out a bit
My Journalling card is tucked away in the little envelope
Having Faith that things will work out as they should
Having Faith in the ones that I love
But more than anything......
Having Faith in myself
